The West End just saw a production of Blithe Spirit in 2011 with Alison Steadman, the rich couple from Cold Feet and Ruthie Henshall. I guess audiences will return to see Angela Lansbury?

Nope, The Chalk Garden revival is for Fall 2014.

Interesting that this is the first production since her return to stage in 2007 that doesn't have anyone other big names in the cast besides Lansbury. I guess, producers are confident that Lansbury's name alone will sell the tickets despite quite recent 2011 production.
