I LOVE Annie Potts.
I'm not surprised there has been so much turnaround for this role. That trapeze bit does not look easy. I was literally slack jawed at Andrea Martin when I saw her do it.

As I said when her casting was first rumored on this board, Annie Potts is an absolutely inspired choice for Berthe.
Talk about a performer who radiates joy.

BTW, in the BWW world story it mentions one of her credits as an Off Broadway production of A Little Night Music. Anyone know when this was/what role she played?

Does anyone know how long she is contracted for? (If I missed it in the article, my apologies!)
I'm seeing the show again in the spring, and was hoping Potts would still be with the show.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Posted: 12/17/13 at 6:09pmI believe January 20th is a Monday, which is Pippin's dark night. If there was a gap of just a day or two, I'd assume the normal understudy (I believe Sabrina Harper covers Berthe in Pippin?) would be on.

Posted: 12/17/13 at 9:46pmThe 20th is a Monday. No show for Pippin, so check your tickets. There's no gap between when Feldshuh leaves(Jan. 19) & when Potts arrives(Jan. 21).
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
