Here are my photos from The Cutting Room. They're not great, but I figured I'd share anyway.
More on their way...
I don't know that I posted my pictures in here. I don't think I did.
Here are the better ones.

Great pictures! It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun, despite some crazy/annoying people. I wish I could've gone

I was at the signing and had a pretty bad experience since I got there at 6pm and the books were sold out, & I was near the back of the line and waited 4 hours in the overheaded store, etc. I'm fairly new to the Rent fandom - saw the show years ago but really loved the movie, which has gotten me all into it again, and so I don't know many people - this is my first post here. But I thought I'd share my pics! I don't know anyone in these pics other than Anthony and the annoying B&N lady in the crochet sweater who wouldn't get out of the way. But Anthony was a sweetheart and very worth it!

everythingisrent- Just read your comment! I'm one of the "cool girls" you met at starbucks. The one with the green shirt and blackish hair. It was so nice meeting you
I don't know why I find it so funny (maybe more ironic) that so many of us ran into each other and didn't even know it.
I'm sorry to hear you found it to be such a bad experience - I just read your blog as well. Also sorry you trusted citysearch, as I had a wonderful time at the gig. It was a drastically different atmosphere than at Barnes and Noble. Btw...Anthony sang a part of Losing My Religion because it was the song he auditioned with at his first Rent audition.
aw, shame on CitySearch.
The book signing was chaos, but the show redeemed all of the crap everyone put up with at B&N. It was so, so much fun.
I want another one. Now.
Me too!

Ok, I dont mean to sound mean or just not in the know, but, who was that lady with Anthony, helping with the books? She had a pink scarf or something on. I have no idea who she is because she asked me a bunch of questions for Anthony to respond to. thanks
I assumed she was his publicist.
Thanks everyone for sharing your photos and stories. I was bummed I couldn't make either event. Hopefully I'll be able to make the signing at the LGBT Center and it will be a bit mellower.
Yeah so now I see a slew of autographed copies of Without You on e-bay... with descriptions indicating that they got it at the signing.
A) That explains people with like 4 copies of the book.
B) So not cool. I mean, especially given the crowd of fans.
C) Do people actually think that a signed copy of this book is worth the $150 or $100 or $75 these people are trying to sell it for?
I guess not since they don't have bids, but wow, way to be low.
That's just sad. Psst, do you like my pineapple?
I thought she was just a B&N person.

Wow - that really pisses me off, since I'm one of those who didn't get a copy because they were sold out. Granted I was going to buy the book anyway (from Amazon) but it would have been nice to get for the signing. I think I'll leave them bad feedback.
I SO wish I had gone to the Cutting Room. But I was so tired by that point I never would have made it.
Maybe I will try to get to another venue on his tour list. What is the LGBT Center?
I pre-ordered mine on Amazon well before the book signing, just in case.

The Center's on 13th street.
Here are about 15 of my many, many pictures from this signing (and more specifically the concert):

Also... I will be relaunching my site (needtoexpress.com/Anthony/) with a new design in a few days! Keep your ears pealed!
I'm HOPING the signing at the Center will be much smaller.
Actually, I believe it is on 14th street.
