Any reviews for '...Spelling Bee' or 'All Shook Up' 's OBCs?

Does anyone have these CDs yet? How are they? I would have ordered the Bee one off of Amazon when I purchased ASU but it still says it hasnt been released yet.

Bought them both yesterday at Tower on 66th. They are both excellent. All Shook Up reminds me how great the music is and how bad the show was. Spelling Bee is a good recording, however they have tracks of all the times they sing "goodbye, goodbye" when people are eliminated. I don't think that was necessary to include on the CD.

The best recording of the year is The Light in the Piazza...no contest.

I didn't post my review for ASU because I didn't like the show and I didn't like the recording any better, so I figured why take the baseball bat to the wasp's nest again?

The one thing that really struck me listening to ASU is how weak Jenn's Vocals come across. I know she's beloved here, but I couldn't stop thinking about how poorly she sings those songs!

I got my ASU CD during the weekend and it reminded me how much fun I had during the show! Great cd!

Ha. You might want to change the title to "OBCRs" not "OBCs" I was confused for a bit!

cant go wrong with ASU, i listen to it beginning to end every day! its such a fun show, so the cd is also a blast

the spelling bee Cd is great! Lisa Howard has a really great voice and it shows that on the cd and live.

The SPELLING BEE recording is terrific. I would never want to relive the horror that was ALL SHOOK UP, so I haven't purchased the cast album.
