I wonder how the show is doing now with it's transfer and after a few years of not being performed off-Broadway.
Report back!
Break a leg to the cast and crew.
A fun show. But I feel sorry for the theater staff with all of that "snow" to clean up! I had that stuff falling off of me for what seemed like days! 8 of us went to see it here in Denver and there was a trail of "snow" from the theater all the way to the bar afterwards and home! We were sitting in the second row and then had a "snowball" fight afterwards!
i'm going next wednesday...
Break a leg SLAVA SNOW SHOW.
I am so upset I am missing opening night.

I'm going this Saturday! I cannot wait. I really think it is a splendid theatrical experience. Since seeing it off Brodway 4 years ago, I am excited to witness the differences.
Not my cup of tea but somepeople like it.
Just not moi.
I'm going on Sunday. I've no idea what this show even is...but my friend had tickets.

If you didn't like it Corine then why are you sad you can't go to opening night....?
mywonder, it is mime. Not a really long show. And worth it for the end.
My friend's boss took the tickets back because his girlfriend wanted to go No more Slave's Snowshow

That's lame. No take backs!
Do you think they amped up the production values for Broadway?
I thought it was exhilarating....quite an experience for the senses.
But yes...the SNOW.....I remember still finding pieces in my purse (pretty big one) for AGES.
Is this 'snow' wet, dry, what of it?
I'm contemplating the possibility of seeing this one.
Dry, windblown.
More than you can possibly imagaine.
IF I remember correctly....it's just paper.
It's not truly mime as an above poster mentioned although there are certainly TRAITS of it. I would consider it more European clowning than anything else. Do NOT confuse with Barnum & Bailey/children's parties/American clowing which has no soul.
Definitely NOT for every one.
Don't pay any attention to Corine.
She's medicated.
Is there any kind of rush for this?
It was called sarcasm.
But I wish it well.

I loved--and was very surprised by how much I did--this show, when I saw it late in it's Off-Broadway run. Would love to catch it again, but those ticket prices look a little hefty at this current juncture.

Going to see it tonight! Can't wait, I hear it's remarkable!
dramamama, thank you. That is a much better description of the show. And yes, there is more "snow" than you can possibly imagine! We were actually shielding ourselves with out arms and hands! I knew it was coming, but didn't know it was going to be that intense!

I saw it in Chicago in 2004. The begenning was a clown with a nuce around his neck. My little sister (4 at the time) took a necklace the next week, put it on a doorknob, and said to my mom "Look mom, I'm a clown!"
It was humerous, but also kind of scary (even though she had no idea!)

Is it marketed towards 4 year olds?
