Anyone going to Xanadu AND [tos] on October 12th?

Nah, I'd rather spend my time at SPRING AWAKENING and "13".... those are the real musicals on Broadway right now.
XANADU and {TOS] ?? Psshh. Nah. Where's the artistic value? (Sarcasm)
Seriously though. I'm not devasted about [tos]. I am absolutely crushed about XANADU though.

I want to. Whether or not I actually do go is another story. I doubt I can afford both so I'm trying to decide which one...

I'm seeing Xanadu, but I'm still not certain it's the final performance.

You would think that with the cult following of both, they would have chosen to close AT LEAST a week from each other not the same day.

Well at least they're both not closing at the same time. People can do both.

Is Xanadu's final show not sold out yet? And how much of a discount for title of show?

Sorry, PM is on now.
[title of show]- code only works over phone, call 212-947-8844 and mention code TOSMANIA2. The tickets are $50.00, $61.00 after all the processing. I just used it to get a closing night ticket.

Thanks guys
I already have tix for "Equus" on Friday, "August Osage" on Saturday and "Xanadu" on Sunday. I dk if I can handle a 4th show in 3 days. I may just go back to [tos] on another day before it closes. A friend of mine says it's been on TDF for $20.

Yes. I'm crushed. I just got lucky and my annual trip from CO to NYC lands on that weekend. It will be my first time seeing both too.
Xanadu - On-stage
[tos] - Orch Row L (don't know the seat though)
Also seeing Equus on Friday... it should be a very memorable trip.

I'm so upset about this, my two favorite shows closing on the same day, and i can get into the city and see them because of school and football games. *CURSES MARCHING BAND SCHEDULE*
I like playin with lightbulbs. Plug 15 3-bulb circuits into one extension cord, flip the switch and *POOF*. Smoke machine.

I'm not going to lie... if it were me, I would not go to marching band that day. Unless you're the drum major, there are some things that just take priority.

Having seen Xanadu four times and TOS only once, I'm definitely more upset by TOS' closing and the fact that I can't be there. I'll be in Texas with my father and brother and since it's the first time we've traveled together since my mom died in 1994, I don't think I can get out of it.
Guess I'll just have to sit down and right the TOS people a nice, long missive about how much I loved and appreciated the show and hopefully send more personal thoughts by proxy if PSF attends as I think he will.
Hoping TOS has a long afterlife.....

I am definitely at both--nosebleeds over Olympus for Xanadu, 6th on the aisle for [tos]. Oh, and went yesterday matinee for such an emotional performance, the first since they'd gotten the news and was second seat on the 4th NEXT TO JEFF'S MOM, who I had a grand time with. We shared kleenex.
The last vampire is the mother of all vampires and that is the vampire of despair. It'll wake you up at 4am to say things like:
Who do you think you are kidding?
You look like a fool!
No matter how hard you try, you'll never be good enough!
Why is it that if some dude walked up to me on the subway platform
and said these things, I'd think he was a mentally ill as-h-le,
but if the vampire inside my head says it,It's the voice of reason!
