This washed up Disney channel star is lucky to even have a job!
I'm so mad she's in something so brilliant as AVENUE Q.

PSLove, I agree with you completely, Carey Anderson is amazing. Can't believe they're bringing in Christy Romano in thinking she will increase ticket sales. I have tickets for next week and am bummed I won't get to see Carey

I don't mind that she's joining the cast but she looks much too skinny in those press pictures. She was always skinny but never THAT skinny!

I think for a former Disney actress she is doing a great job of breaking her Disney image. Keep in mind that it isn't like Beauty and The Beast was her first theatre gig. She has done theatre before. In fact Beauty wasn't her first Broadway show.
But, if I were in NY I would totally go see her in the show. I am sure that she is doing well. Keep in mind that it was known all along that Anderson was going to start out with the Broadway company and then join the tour for a bit and then come back to Broadway.

She has a little bit of respect from me because she was in Parade, but her vocal performance in Beauty and the Beast really soured my ever wanting to see her in anything ever again.

I actually didn't like her in Beauty at all but could see her being good in this.

How is this unfair? I don't think that they were taking a job away from Larsen. I think her contract was up. Anderson went to the Broadway cast as a sub until they got Romano in the role. After Romano is done on Broadway then Anderson is coming back.

She sounded horrible in Beauty and the Beast...I wonder how she is in Avenue Q - I am curious.

A friend of mine saw her in the show tonight. She was on the fence about how she felt about her in Beauty and The Beast but loved her in Avenue Q.
PSLove302, you have to realize that it was set up for a long time that Romano would come to Broadway. One of the cast members (who's name I am blanking on) left to do Vanities and they needed someone to come in between her and Romano. Anderson knew when she signed up for the role that she was going to spend some time on tour.
