On Ellen today? He was wearing a Les Miserable sweater. I thought it looked kind of cool. I've noticed a trend in "hip hop" wear lately, Broadway is in. I saw a couple guys on campus wearing the Miss Saigon logo around with their Air Force Ones and gold chains. I thought it was kind of cool.

Also, is anyone else watching the Shoshana Bean rerun on Martha? She's not that great. I realize it's probably just an off performance since it's so early in the day for her.

I really like Kanye West. Unlike some of his other peers, he has a real understanding of other people and has a real respect for other interests and lifestyles. Big fan.

Don't care for Kanye anymore. Really liked his personality in the beginning. He seemed so real, but I think he got too full of himself when he got super popular.

And I very much enjoyed P. Diddy in "raisin in the Sun". He is my favorite of all of the male hip hop stars.

Kanye's been cocky since way before his record deal. that's just him. not that it's a good thing, it's just who he is.
And he is a big musical theatre fan.It is one of many things that inspire him. if you ever see him on the street ask him what his favorite Adam Guettel song is. :)

I love Kanye West. I guess he's full of himself, but honestly, he's good at what he does. He has some heart behind his music and doesn't rap about frivelous things.

And he likes Broadway, so that's always great.

Oh okay, that explains it. I wasn't trying to be rude, I usually really love her voice, but it didn't seem like any of the notes were landing the way they should. And I have to say, I'm not a fan of all the riffing. She sounds beautiful if she just sang it straight musical theater.
