Grammy website says:Once: A New Musical- Steve Kazee & Cristin Milioti, principal soloists. Steven Epstein & Martin Lowe, producers. Richard King, engineer/mixer.: for Best Musical Theater Album 2012
Groff is a Grammy winner for Hamilton as he was a principal soloist. All the other principal soloists have Grammys as well for Hamilton.
Groff DOES NOT have a Grammy for Spring Awakening. The only winners were Duncan Sheik (composer and producer), Steven Sater (lyricist), and Michael Tudor (engineer). There were no principal soloists listed for Spring Awakening.
Per the Grammys website:
Winner - Hamilton
For anyone who hasn't seen how Daveed has been putting his grammy to use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00uSkCeXnls
That was uploaded at the end of May (culled from his Snapchat) but he has periodically put more up; the latest was yesterday.
I similarly don't doubt that Lin will (P)EGOT for Moana. He has a golden touch and is well-liked, a winning combination for awards ceremonies.

It does indeed seem a bit fair that artists such as Groff - who sung for a couple of minutes in total - can walk away with a Grammy today where as Bernadette Peters did not win a Grammy for her performances in SUNDAY IN THE PARK, INTO THE WOODS, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and GYPSY.
^I'm sure Bernadette is losing a lot of sleep over this.
