Was just flicking through the internet and had never looked at The Actors' Equity Association website at the auctions they had coming up (was random as I am in UK and not an actor) and saw that on 13th & 14th April they are having calls for Female/Male ensemble dancers and on the 16th April they are having calls for Ensemble singers! Does this mean its back to moving forward and we actually might get to see it soon - was hoping it would be there when I am in NYC in June but very doubtful if anything so far that has happened is to go by?!

Wheels are back in motion for a late fall/early winter opening.
this show halted once ages ago and only for a few days whilst more funds were found (something which happens a lot) yet because of everyone on here saying it wont open people seem to think that it was axed
LET IT DIE!!!!!! JUST LET IT DIE!!!!!!!
We will see this thing gather steam if American Idiot does well. A new musical with a Rock and Roll score by Bono will entice the money people. I wish they would use that money rather, to finance 4-5 smaller new productions then a bloated Julie Taymor ego project.

So they have ALL of the casting done, except for Mary Jane and the ensemble? I heard that they were going to use a teen-trio to narrate the story.
Last week i saw the Hiltons stage load-in door open and they were bringing in what i think were lighting boxes
I doubt they are loading in light boxes for a show without an opening date.
They are having ensemble calls, the other roles are probably having agent submissions.
Has anyone else heard of any casting, besides Cumming,
and the Spiderman guy?

Still can't see this as a musical, but i hope i will be wrong
well, if it is 'back in motion', it's most likely lost Alan Cumming ---

Doesn't "The Good Wife" film in NYC? If so, there's probably no problem, since his character on the TV show isn't one of the leads, and his filming schedule could surely work around his stage performances.

Well, i walked by the Hilton yesterday as stagehands were loading in. I asked what the load in was for, and they said "Spiderman" !
Go figure. Your guess is as good as mine.

Reeve Carney? He's playing Spider-Man...
Hopefully not. This should die before it's born.
