I think we're all taking ourselves a little too seriously here. This is all in good fun. Well for me anyway but I seriously would like to see Ariana and Liz play Galinda and Elphaba

Good lord. You all can't go 5 minutes without starting something. While viewing these boards I always find it amusing when you make it a point to call out "children" when you're in reality, being a bigger child than those you are accusing. Literally, get a life. Nobody forced you to click these threads or respond to messages you don't like. Go outside or something because you're drowning in your own egos and hypocrisy.

I, personally, regardless of what they've done acting wise in the past, think that Ariana and Liz are talented actresses. I've never seen "13" or any of their Nickolodean shows this is judging solely off of the music careers.

Thanks Starship. I wouldn't have an issue if people were just like well I disagree I've listened to them and think that they're bad. No, they think that just because these people were on Nickelodeon they don't even have a place in this thread.

I'm not childish just because I enjoy singers who made their break on Nickelodeon. Btw, Victorious was a very good show but most of you will never even watch one episode because you're so high and mighty. Guess what. That's how the majority of the world feels about musicals in general. You're no better than them

Ah, my apologies. I didn't read through the whole thread.
Liz Gillies' voice is alright. She would fit the part better than Ariana, anyway, but still not my top choice (I'm kind of hoping for them to cast an unknown if this movie ever comes off the ground, but I know that probably won't happen).

Due to all this bickering and name calling, the movie of WICKED has been cancelled.

I'm a bigger fan of Lea Michele than Liz Gillies and Ariana Grande.

If Ariana is Glinda. I don't mind either Lea or Liz as Elphaba but, though Lea can act and will do a good job with the music in Wicked, I think Liz will do the character more justice.

Liz Gillies was born to play roles like Elphaba in Wicked, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Jade West in Victorious etc. She just has that dark edge. Other people can imitate it but she generally has it naturally.

Also Liz Gillies and Ariana Grande have been best friends for years. I'm not sure how Ariana and Lea will be together but I think Ariana & Liz is a safer option because they have magical chemistry as well.

It's kinda like taking Kara Lindsay for example who is a brilliant Glinda and putting her with Idina Menzel. She would do a good job but at the end of the day, Idina has better chemistry with Kristen Chenoweth and Kara has better chemistry with Laurel Harris.

Actually, if Lea plays Elphaba then maybe Ariana shouldn't play Glinda. Just based on the fact that they're almost too similar. Having Lea as Elphaba would call for an even lighter voiced Glinda than Ariana already is. Let's face it. Lea Michele's voice is pretty light already
