Her voice is fine but just having a good voice isn't enough for a wicked film. Many women have powerful voices but that doesn't mean they should play Elphaba. I'm sure you will agree.

Actually the best live performance I've seen of hers was tattooed heart at the AMAs. Note Lady Gagas standing ovation

I wouldn't mind that. Samantha Barks was my second favorite performer in Les Mis. Behind Eddie Redmayne mmm.. He could play Fiyero :)

New plan. Ariana Grande (Glinda) and Liz Gillies (Elphaba). Shame poor Liz hasn't gotten much of a role since victorious ended. Was on BWay with Ariana in 13.

She's amazing thoug. Just as good as Ariana. Everyone knew on Victorious that Liz and Ariana were much more talented than Victoria Justice

Liz Gilles is an excellent choice and she has the maturity (both vocally and physically) that Elphaba needs.

Okay new rule: Only actresses who play characters on Nickelodeon can audition for Elphaba and Glinda. I'm rooting for SpongeBob to play Fiyero .

Yeah. She's perfect and Ariana & Liz already have chemistry.

It doesn't matter how good the individual Elphaba and Glinda are if the chemistry isn't there

Haha. Ok I know it seems that way but Liz and Ariana are two people from Broadway that became best friends and ended up on Nickelodeon together. It's just a coincidence. Nickelodeon was really lucky to cast both of them. We were really lucky to get such talent on a show. At least it keeps the standard unlike Selena Gomez etc. Updated On: 6/28/14 at 04:03 PM

Jennifer Lawrence is actually notoriously bad at singing she was dubbed for Last house on the left so that rules her out.

Liz and Ariana are actually so perfect for this. They are basically the Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel of today.

If this doesn't happen it will be a crime against the natural order of things ^^]

I just mean that since Idina even said they were too old for the roles now. Obviously people who don't know the original are going to define the show based on the movie. Think of Anne Hathaway in Les Mis (as if she created the role or something). I'm not trolling lol
