Going to NYC on the 30th. Partner and I are trying to adopt, so this may be the last trip for a while.
Therefore, I wanna squeeze in as much as possible. Seeing "Promises, Promises" on Friday eve (the 30th), and "American Idiot" on Sunday matinee (flying home that eve.) Saturday's gonna be the marathon.
"Everyday Rapture" at 2:00, "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson" at 5:00, & "La Cage aux Folles" at 8:00. Gotta love those 90-min, no intermission shows! I've done 2 shows in one day before, no sweat, but this one's gonna be a blur!
(Oh, and Tom's coming along for all but "Rapture." His tolerance for indulging my show-habit DOES have a limit.)
Ha! I did 3 shows one day I remember...It's going to work out well for you since the shows are short.
Was kinda amazed they all "fit."
Add that to us seeing the "Chorus Line" tour here on May 9, and "Billy Elliott" in Chicago (our old home) Mem Day weekend, and I'm pretty psyched.
I know that post-baby, this stuff'll be RARE.
I'm jealous. That describes the perfect theatre day for me!

I have done the same, always great when you can fit in 3 shows, I plan on doing it again next week, Red, Defending the Caveman and still have not decided on the 3rd, may do TKTS.
By the way jpbran, Congrats on your adoption : )
