Still a relative novice at redeeming AR points; recently redeemed AR VIP points to see Network during this trip. Ive already bought tickets (not via AR) for 11th (Fiddler) and for 14th (Kiss Me, Kate) as well as Network on 13th.
So that still leaves these times free:
Tuesday (12th) evening,
Friday (15th) evening, and
Saturday (16th) matinee and evening.
Of shows Im still considering, the ones Id like to use AR VIP points for are:
Choir Boy
The Ferryman
The Band's Visit
I understand Ive probably missed my shot at using AR points for Choir Boy for my dates unless someone somehow cancels their AR points purchase.
However, not all The Ferryman (only through 14th) and The Band's Visit (only through January 31st) dates Im interested in have populated yet on the AR website. Does that mean they will? And, if so, is there any way to predict when they will?
Thanks! "
I redeemed for The Ferryman today. They now have March dates up. I had been hoping to catch the current cast but between my travel schedule constantly changing and only certain nights being available, I ended up booking the new cast.
I ended up redeeming AR points for The Band’s Visit for orchestra seat on Tuesday night. Bought discount ticket for 4th row left orchestra for The Ferryman for Friday night. That leaves only Saturday night open. I’ll either see DEH again (probably Stubhub or TKTS) or Choir Boy (TKTS) or The Cher Show (TKTS) then.

I’m seeing Alice By Heart matinee Saturday so I may end up at Choir Boy or Cher Show that evening as well depending on lotteries and rush tickets and such.

I'm seeing Superhero for my Saturday matinee. Gotta support off-Broadway! It would be cool to see perhaps the next DEH at Second Stage Theater before it becomes the next DEH then actually see DEH again that night.

Precisely why I wanted to see Alice By Heart. Though Superhero is on my list as well. I'm going to try for the $20 rush seats on TodayTix.
What the Constitution Means to Me is available for dates from 3/20 - 4/28, $48 plus 500 VIP/1000 points.

Curious and was hoping someone could help.
Has anyone ever received a better seat than what was expected when picking up at the box office?

Was reminded of The New Group’s Happy Talk when Jesse Eisenberg was on Late Night yesterday. Got a code for $65 seats, but want to see if it pops up on AR or what the rush options will be. If anyone sees it on Audience Rewards, give me a shout!

Thanks CT2NYC! Have you redeemed tickets for this? Just wondering about seat location.

I have, and so have friends of mine, and we've gotten orchestra center row Q for Tootsie, and orchestra row L for Ink. One of them got row BB for Ink, but I think that's an exception, rather than the rule.

The last time I bought a ticket through Audience Rewards was a while ago. I used a credit card. Does AR still accept credit cards? I'm having trouble with a transaction, as all I see is PayPal, which I don't have. Does anyone know?

Orch Row L (house right) is their usual location for AR tickets. That said , I saw Little Foxes twice w/AR (so I could see the actresses switch) and once the seat was in BB, the other was in Row L
The Nap & Choir Boy were both Row L - same seat too, L110
I recently cashed in points for "King Kong" and "The Prom," for my upcoming trip to NYC.
How do you all determine what tickets to buy via Audience Rewards?
I'm new to AR and trying to figure out how to best leverage the system. A lot of the Earn offers I see require buying tickets valued at a minimum of $135, and that's higher than I usually try to spend. However, if the end result is getting free (or free-ish) tickets to a well-selling show, I can see the value in spending a little more on tickets for shows I want to see anyway when the Earn is significant. So I'm curious to hear what people's strategies are.

Shoot. There are still dates left but they're after May 12th and I don't want to try and bet on whether they'll extend.
CatastrophicDay: In case you don't already know, you can also earn audience rewards points when you purchase your tickets at the box office. If the show is on Telecharge, just give the agent your Audience Rewards number before you pay. For Ticketmaster box offices, it's iffy. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't (they don't at Hadestown - which sucks b/c I bought tickets for multiple performances).
Strategies? Dont have any. I use my number every time I buy tix....and when i have enough points, I use them.
