Autograph from Juila?

Anyone score an autograph or photo with Julia after tonight's performance of THREE DAYS OF RAIN? Was it crazy at the stage door? What are the chances of getting one of those from the three cast members after a performance??

Well I saw Avenue Q last night and when I walked out Three Days of Rain had not even ended and there were well over 100 people there as well as alot of paparazzi. Then when the the show let out it was madness and there were alot of policemen keeping people off the street.

Right now I would say leave the poor woman alone. Its bad enough with the show, but she has the freaking Post and News on her tail as well.

She is probably scared out of her wits. She isn't playing Podunk or even the West End. She took a monumental chance and came to New York unlike most movie types. Let her relax a bit.

Check on her in a month or so. After the opening. Be cool.

The guys on the other hand, will probably sign anything that isn't an IOU.

I was having dinner across the street from the theatre last night and saw Julia leave through the stage door. She was signing anything that anyone put in front of her (I was seated right by the window and could clearly see her from my table). She appears to be a real class act. I wish her nothing but the best.

I'm with you LOVE, When I heard Paul Rudd was in this show I got upset because I knew there would be no chance in heck of seeing it because Julia is too popular.

After today's matinee, Ms. Roberts came out and signed for the crowd. It was a very half-assed attempt....There were no barricades and when she came out, the put one up right in front of her. Lotta people trampled. She signed anything for the first, oh, 15 people who could get to her. Photos, too.

Wow madness. I saw Wonderfull Town near the end of it run...actually New Years Eve. I didn't really know much about Brooke but it was still a little crazy and she had to have someone there to keep telling people that she won't sign anything that isn't related to the show. I respect that 100% but somepeople just didn't get it. Brooke took photos with people. As did Billy Crystal in LA.

Oh...do you think she will answer fan mail?

I figured it would be crazy at the beginning of the run.That is why I am glad I am not going until June 8th. It should be calmed down by then, but that is Tony's week, which could be a problem in itself.

With all the chaos, a picture OF her is only allowed. The police had to intervene today after the aggressive press stepped in.

That's exactly what it was. There were no barricades set up as she was walking out. She began to sign and a barricade was thrust in front of her. At this point, everyone in the back started running up to the front, literally pushing people and knocking them over. A passerby police officer came in and started throwing people out, but was sent away by Julia's bodyguards. She signed for about 30 people before going back inside.

whoa my goodness, there are a lot of crazy people out there...i'm sure if those people in the back just waited their turn, she would have been happy to get to them. its not like julia is suddenly gonna dissappear into thin air, and you wont be able to meet her...
wow, and i thought the line to meet denzel washington was crazy!

i feel sorry for her- 8 shows a week for the next few months full of screaming, crazy fans hounding her...and dont forget the paparzzi

Wow- When I saw Julius Ceaser the crowd was not nearly this bad. It was horrible- don't get me wrong, and Denzel was wonderful, but no squashing of people on the ground. Of course, he had barricades all over.
