Avenue Q/ Little Mermaid/ 9 to 5: final night

Anybody going to any of the last performances?
I got orch seating for mermaid and 9 to 5. For Q I had to get rear mezzanine since the last show was mostly invite only (Their only selling 2 rows of seats in the mez.)

I was just wondering if anyone else from the forums is going to be at any of the shows, hopefully Ill be able to see some people their :)

I'm not, but I did Buy tickets to 9 to 5 and Q before the closing date was announced so that was good planning on my part. As for little mermaid i'm rushing it. Let me know how they go !

I'm curious to know why Avenue Q is mostly invite only, who is invited/do they pay?

Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

and as for Q I believe its going to be former cast members/ family/ etc. And the invite tickets were free. I asked John Tartaglia if he was going and he said he wasnt sure yet, Im really hoping he is though but I guess its up to if Shrek would let him have the night off.

I will be at The Little Mermaid and 9 to 5 closings. I am sitting in row C for both shows. Hope every has a great time at whichever show/shows they are going too :)

I'm seeing 9 to 5 in a week for my third time, and when I see Little Mermaid's closing (Rear Mezzanine Row A, Stage right side) i'm seeing Avenue Q right afterwards. Atleast I'm seeing all of them before they close, but I was hoping that Avenue Q would have a few more original cast members returning (especially Stephanie, since I never got to see her). Oh well, it'll be a sad two weeks for Broadway, even if two of the shows were'nt that well recieved. It's always sad when big musicals close (Avenue Q, after running over 6 years, can be considerred a big musical).

If I can get a discount, then I'll buy a ticket to 9 to 5's closing. If not, then I'll just try lotto for some time in August. I just need to see it before it closes.

I don't think John Tartaglia would have a problem getting off from Shrek for the last performance since its a Sunday night and Shrek doesn't play Sunday nights. And I sure hope they have lottery. I already have rear mezz seats but I'd really like to sit front row.

9 to 5's discounts end next week don't they? Are there any discounts for the final show?

Who knows? RENT was almost all invite tickets, but they still did the lottery on the final day.

Barney Stinson, Little Mermaid closes August 30, and Avenue Q closes September 13.

I'm very jealous of you all that are going to see these shows. I was lucky to see them all, but I would love to be at any or all of the final shows.

My guess would be yes once they get notices of people that cant make it but you never know.
