You know, it was only a couple of days ago when we were celebrating 100 pages.
Anyone have anything to say about BARE? I think we've hit a block.

Dearest platonic straight girlfriend, have you read my synopsis of BARE? It's the really long one.

Blue-I haven't read it. Any idea what page it's on?
Why do we play with fire?
Why do we run our fingers through the flame?
Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain?

Actually, I don't!
This is sad. It's actually on a few; we've really uber-long, aren't we? Anyone find a page with the synopsis? If not, I'll just post it again.

Basically the plot involves a bunch of kids living away at a catholic high school. They go through average teenage "activities" if you will including alcohol and drug use. Peter is gay and many know that he is, even though he has many problems admitting it to others, especially his mother, maybe because he is mocked by the head priest. Jason is the ideal high school "jock", great at sports and secretly likes Peter, but won't admit his homosexuality in fear of losing faith from his father and future as a sports player. Ivy is the ideal high school "snob" or "slut", and likes Jason more than any other guy. The play entails their love triangle and struggles. The rest is history.

Hope my fake wives had a lovely weekend....just got done with a family picinic....thank God for booze!
I had a pleasantly uneventful weekend which involved a lot of sleeping. Alone, unfortunately. Personally, I prefer the use of silverware for potential poking at any event involving my family.

SPOILER-just in case someone else is trying to avoid them like i was.
Wow, I skipped it the first time because i didn't want the spoilers but now i've decided to just learn everything i can, since i can't see the show until Nov. Wow! Just reading the synopsis was emotional. I don't really understand how Jason dies though...

I don't really understand how Jason dies though...
He gulps down an overdose of the liquid rave drug that was introduced in "Wonderland," and that Lucas gives him right before Romeo & Juliet begins (because Lucas is a dealer, and Jason asked him for it with the intention of committing suicide).

Before I go to bed: you know what I love about the BARE family? That, despite being very excited and enthusiastic and - yes - downright giddy about the show, we've still managed to keep it all together in one thread. Unlike, *ahem*, the Wicked fans and the Brooklyn shills.
Thank you, my friends, and keep up the good work!
