#2775The Bare Essentials: a 'family'
Posted: 9/6/04 at 3:33pm

I really think that we all were friends or family in another life cause if you listen to us all we all talk with the same random phrases
blah
I heart you
I love you like a fat kid loves cake

I know there are more I just need to go to work now so I cant put them all up

but I really think that we are were around each other in another life

cause I do not know anyone else who talks like that unless they have picked it up from me

Hi, all:

Fan of the thread & its seemingly endless nature --- proof that you can't keep good fans down!

I was perusing the latest Time Out New York and spotted a quarter page ad for the show w/rush info in it --- rush will be $21.25 and two hours prior to curtain, student ID required, natch. No seating location was specified. I'm not sure if this has been posted yet (I don't feel it has), and I figured this would indeed be the best place to share it/spread the word.

I, for one, am pleased that's it's not one of those 10 a.m. wake up at dawn deals (though any rush is good rush)...and it sounds a little bit more 'guaranteed' I guess than rush when it was at ATA, esp. toward the end of the run, when sell outs were a fact of life...there IS something about the dramatics of the ticket 'Wait List' that I will miss, granted (those who experienced it will know what I mean). Added to the 'bare' experience a bit.

Peace -
Joe T.

Ummm, 2day4u, that totally happened to me with the desktop. One small difference, dad found my entire folder of Michael Arden pics that I was using for a desktop to post here...that took some quick lying. "Ummmm, it's for a school project....ummm, I have to print out an up and coming singer for chorus...umm yeah, I didn't know which picture to use...ummm, yeah!"

Such a close call.

Great news about rush, sounds promising.

2day4u:

From the tone of the little ad, ("STUDENT RUSH: $21.25 at box office 2 hours prior to curtain), I'm thinking it's a rush that starts 2 hours prior, similar to ATA...I think if it was a lotto, it would've specified. I might see "Symphonie Fantastique" this weekend, and if I do, I'll stop by the box office and see if I can get someone to tell me something official. (Clearly, when it's matters as important as this, it's best to hear the official word, lol).

Peace -
Joe T.

drunken moments? me post drunk? never. I dont even know what alcohol tastes like!

Rush news is excellent. maybe then when I come I will buy tickets for one night and then rush another cause I mean five days in NY calls for at least two BARE experiences I think so.

All this talk of booze is getting me thirsty....

I have a question and knew some of you would be able to answer it. The latest Carols for a Cure (2003) has the cast of Big River singing O' Holy Night....it wouldn't by any chance be Michael listed would it? I don't own it, but I am going to pick it up if it does.

Yea I had that happen when I was in High school
then my dad took it and crushed it up in front of me

I was so sad about it
from then on out I made sure all my discs of thing were hidden somewhere in my room

but then when I was kicked out of my dads house he found all that stuff and more that was hidden under the bed and trashed it, he said it was sonething like 3 trash bags of "Gay S***"
