ITA BlueWizard! MoG and I are going to see Brooklyn for my b-day, but all of these threads about it are pushing me past the point of sanity and just turning me off the show!

Perhaps this is why Craig and Rob (the bestest mods evah sucks up appropriately) are a little more lenient with us and our OT posts since it's confined to one thread.

Well that and we try valiantly to keep Bare on topic.

i want a real boyfriend!! my last one was an ass..since he left to go help for the hurricane and didnt even say goodbye

OMG, is he okay Musicalfandukie? I can't get through to my relatives down in Florida at all right now. I hope they're okay. These are relatives that I actually like and those are few and far between. :/

There are some people in the world who say that writing stories, or composing music or dancing sparkly dances is easy for them. Nothing interferes with their ability to create. MOG he is fine..he works for the red cross and is there to help after the hurricane passes..he did a couple shaddy things before he left tho that's why i am upset with him but oh well...but i hope your family is doing ok!! i talked to my grandpa today he lives in florida..and he said that the storm wasn't as strong where he was..let's hope it's the same for your family!

WOW!!!!! I got to the city for the day, and I miss 5 freaking pages!!! This thread does move fast!

I will start by saing Aida was freaking fantastic! I loved being there for the final performance if nothing else! Everyone sounded good, and the atmosphere was fantastic!

MoG...I missed ya today, hon! I get upset when I can't see my fake girlfriend, but we'll have to have that ceremony on the 2nd!

Also, got my events confused with the 12/19. HAHA...So much Bare, so little John!

Welcome to all the new members of the thread! YAY for me not being 2nd youngest anymore! :-P

AG - I heart you too! (You said it so long ago...try to remember! HAHA) I've said it before, I'll say it again....damn you for being freaking 15!!!!!

Musicalfandukie, where in Florida is your ex? Frances is a little southeast of where I am now. If he's anywhere near here, I'd be glad to hunt him down and kick his butt for you. I'm in an ex-boyfriend butt-kicking mood anyway. Just found out that mine had been seeing another guy during the last month or so that we were together.

Looks like I'm gonna have to cancel my plans to come up to see Bare, too. Had it planned for early next year, but I've been offered a new job, and, if I take it, I don't think I'm gonna be able to get away. On the plus side, it also means I'll be moving down to the Orlando area. We'll just have to wait and see.

Here's a question for you folks who saw Bare in Los Angeles (or have more knowledge of it that I do): How much did the story of the show change between LA and NY? Is it pretty much unchanged, or were there any significant alterations made, other than some song alterations? And does anyone have lyrics for Plain Jane Fat Ass? I've heard it before, but it was a very poor recording, and I could only understand about half of it.

It's official, I would love to sit down with Kristin Hanggi and listen to her talk about her vision for Bare! Perhaps I should have been a director in another life, since I seem to have the same dissecting habit. From her interview on the Baree site:

13 i have no clue where my ex is cause since he is such the thoughtful and sweet guy that he is he had his FRIEND call to tell me he was leaving and wouldn't be back for about a month.

Just got a note from Damon. He said the new tracks for the cast recording are BURNING! He did them in LA using his own musicians because he didn't want it to sound like a Broadway cast album, but rather an authentic rock and roll album. He knows there are musicians in NY who could have done this also but he felt he should go with the people he knows.

I can't wait to hear it!

I just had to share a sucky moment. It sucks when you come home from college for the weekend, and you forget to be....uh, secretive. And so your dad comes up to you in the kitchen and goes "So, (insert real name here), who's the guy on your desktop?"......Oops! :-P

O geeze... I left for the night to come back and find that I miss 3 pages...

So here it goes... Hi I'm the new slut in town!

Thanks for the synopsis guys.. it helped to understand the music alot more! Bare kinda reminds me a little of Cruel Intentions.. anyone ever thought of that?

Last night I got off and went to bed wasn't feeling to hott... Blah and I literally just woke up and its 2:00 PM O dear Lord... I was not feeling well at all!]
