Also, welcome fishergirl!! So good to see you here. :)
NYMF was a great success for us. We got Kander & Ebb's agent and several theaters are vying for us to come and do our show. Keep yer fingers crossed that it will work out!
Steve that is so fantastic and I wish you all the luck in the world with that. The Big Voice was truly one of the greatest and most moving theatrical experiences I've ever had. You and Jim deserve all of the accolades that have been heaped on you! :)
But highlight of the night:
MASTER CLASS WITH GAVIN CREEL!!!!!

Life Lesson #1 from Brunettebabe:
If you attend a surprise birthday party for someone and there is an open bar, stay away!
You'll end up telling the birthday boy you think he's gorgeous, the birthday boy's friend that he needs new clothes, and then you'll have gorgeous gay man buy you a cab to get home.
Oh yeah, especially avoid it if you have a 7:30 a.m. lecture on International Marketing Ethics. You'll only end up being crabby and disagreeing with absolutely everything that is said.
Take it into consideration my family, trust me.

Quick drive by THANK YOU (very busy here at work)! Seriously, you guys are beyond sweet and all of the birthday wishes are very much appreciated.
Alas, all the wishing in the world hasn't made me any a)younger, b)more talented, c)richer, d)thinner or e)made Bare come back. Damn it! Of course I haven't blown any candles out as of yet so maybe there's still hope yet!

This thread needs some activity!!!
Someone tell me a story! Cause I'm bored!!!
To keep it on topic, involve Bare characters in the story, but make it pre/post Bare! Okay, have fun!

Jess' story to make 2Day happier:
There was once this girl named Ivy (*coughJesscough*) who was a really good student. In high school, she was valedictorian and over-committed and way too involved with school work and extracurricular activities. So one day Ivy goes to college 3000 miles away. She gets through her first year of college, working just as hard (if not harder) in all her classes, and earns decent grades.
Ivy goes home for the summer and discovers this wonderful invention called the "BWW message board" and in particular a thread called "BARE cast." She spends a lot of time during August before she leaves for school chatting on the message board, meets her fake bf, and has a blast.
Then Ivy goes back for her second year of school. Her classes are easier, but for some reason she never does her work. Instead she spends all her time talking to her new on-line friends about BARE, listening to BARE, thinking about BARE, and telling all her friends about BARE and the message board, and they all begin to think she's crazy. Indeed, she often spends time typing stories about nothing when she should be studying for her "Christian Tradition" midterm which she's been blowing off all semester. But it's okay, because then she starts listening to BARE and she's happy again...
Hope you enjoyed. I'm going to go study now...
LOL, just substitute my name in there, and change some pronouns, and you've got me covered pretty well!

Still bored?
well it almost works for me too
yeah
Hey all. Got back from the Chatterbox and seeing Brooklyn about a half hour ago. Chatterbox was fabulous! John and Michael both looked GORGEOUS and were absoluetly hysterical.
John talked about growing up in Texas, singing at a theme park, (he even brought a REALLY embarassing video of himself singing a George Straight song), being in Hairspray and in The Boy From Oz and a little bit about Bare.
Michael talked about growing up in Texas as well, all of the shows he's been involved in including Big River (which he didn't tell Juilliard that he was auditioning for) and a little bit about Bare.
Nothing new was said about the state of the show though. It doesn't sound like there's been much going on there.
Jesse played piano and John and Michael sang "Bare." It was BEAUTIFUL! I know we all talk about Michael's voice but can I please have a minute here to gush about John's?! He sounded so beautiful. He started the song out a capella and was perfect. Le sigh. I could listen to him sing all day!
Talked with the boys for a bit (Natalie was there too) and then headed over to see Brooklyn. Ummm....Michael told us we would love it. Michael LIED!!! LOL I usually like everything but I thought Brooklyn was HORRIBLE. Tracee and I were in misery. It literally felt as if she was going to have another birthday by the time the show was over. Other people seemed to like it though.
*shrugs shoulders*
Anyhoo, great night. So good to see John and Michael singing together again if only for a brief time. Sniff.
Have I mentioned that John Hill is so beautiful? :P
That Michael guy isn't so bad either.

Don't make me hurt you......
Wish I could have been there, especialy since I found out I could have blown off class again, w/o penalty. But oh well.
I think you're hiding something from me, too......*pensively strokes chin*
