I first got into Bare because of the darlings Trisky and MoG. Both are on my friendslist on livejournal because of Wicked and Queer as Folk related things, and the obsessive amount of times MoG mentioned Michael Arden and John Hill intrigued me. LOL! Do I mention my love of John Hill and Michael Arden a lot on my LJ? I hadn't noticed.

I'll also be able to forever recall the memory of a teenaged John doing his little cowboy number and practically blowing his nose into his hands and wiping it off in the middle of it. Hehehe. Cutest.footage.ever. Le John is le dreamy even when wiping his snotty nose! :)
I can see the producers/writers were earnestly trying their best, and maybe this is coming from a writer's point of view, but they probably should have hired someone who wasn't as close to this source material and could be objective to make whatever point they were making. I couldn't agree with you more. If you asked me right now to tell you what the show was about, I would be hard pressed to come up with anything comprehensible.
