lovely pics. Im SO sad I had to miss the bryant park gig but of course I will have to settle with living vicariously through everyone else fortunate enough to have went. The pictures look amazing.

I cant wait for this show to open up again I am so excited. it is going to be amazing!

I seriously despise being 15...You've all heard it billions of times, but it's so limiting...argh!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to maybe someday being a part of the BARE get together, I think it'd be fantastic!

It'd be one big Michael Arden swoon-fest though...

Thanks MC, Trisky & MOG for sharing!! Great pics MOG. You have no idea how close I was to catching a train to go. I wish I would have.

Damn Savannah trip!! My friends & I decided to do something together this summer, first it was San Fransico (which I was excited about) but when it got switched to Savannah for financial reasons, my excitement disappeared. Must get psyched though. I don't want to let my friends down. At least I won't have to cruise Savannah for an internet cafe now.

Blue Wizard & Trisky - I actually picked up that book too yesterday. I may have a chance to read some this weekend

I saw Michael Arden for the first time at Bryant Park August 19. He was very good. I never saw him before so I thought it was Neil Patrick Harris from "Assassins" and "Doogie Howser" fame. He was friendly and was signing autographs. Aaron Lohr looked familiar, too. I think he appeared as a kid in a Michael Jackson video. He's grown up quite a bit but I recognized him.

Trisky and Cowbell are not on my good list.... a.) Adam is NOT John.. they are SOO different.. SOME people think 'different' is adn.. it is NOT... besides, Adam hasn't done Jason in ANY form in front of an audience before this as well...... b.) Adam is in no way OBLIGATED to stop and talk to everyone. If he talks to some, but not all.. so be it.. sometimes, if he were to stay and talk to EVERYONE, he'd be there FOREVER.... YOU say he heard you.. maybe he didn't. Just because you THINK he did, doesn't mean he did... I personally, have head people I know less than 3 feet from me saying something and don't hear because I can sometimes space out.......

So yeah Bare/Brooklyn/Rent, in Bryant Park yesterday, PM for linkage which I shall be working on later tonight.

Broadwayguy, I'm sure part of it was that he hadn't played Jason before, but I just didn't like his voice on the track and had a hard time picturing him as the school stud. It has nothing to do with his talent as a performer, if he's not necessarily right for a particular role. For instance, I don't particularly care for Eden in Wicked, but I think she sounds fantastic in Brooklyn.

And Bare performing at Bryant Park and then having Michael hand out cds might have been the best publicity yet. A lot of people were really curious about the show after their performance and mentioned "having to check it out" in the fall.

And yes there was MUCH squeeage over how cute Michael is from boys and girls all over the lawn. Oh, the burden of being so damn cute. Poor Michael.

That would be cool. I'm trying to convince my student govt to arrange a trip to NYC during Reading Week in February. I also need to scope out NYU for graduate studies soon (anyone knowledgeable in all things NYU?), so a trip back to the Big Apple is definitely in order....hopefully.

Have you guys heard of "Join Me" - a 'collective' started by a guy in England that decided it would be fun to see if put an ad in the paper that said Join Me and told them to send a picture. It started as a joke but tons of people joined and he decided to turn it into a service organization and they just meet up all over the world and have fun and then try to do good deeds on Friday. I'm thinking the Bare crowd needs to follow the join me model. get together for fun - and Bare talk... and from time to time do a good deed in the name of Bare - help a youth organization or a gay organization out or something...
