Michael looks adorable as always!!!!
That's SUCH a cute picture of Michael! Looks like he's on a quest for a smooch.
HAHA exactly, he looks so cute
Adam looks amazing there, I can not get my eyes off of that picture!
Jenna is adorable as usual, she looks very sexy all pressed up on Adam, though imagine Mikey in her place?

No word from the Broadway in the Park goers yet
I hope they post details before I leave town. My friends will think I'm crazy if I start cruising Savannah for an internet cafe. Of course my friends already think I'm crazy...
Thanks for all the details of the staging BG2, BW, AG, Trisky, B_S, WhatDoINeed (sorry if I missed someone). As someone who was not lucky enough to see the show in NYC (yet somehow I am still addicted) details of the staging help me imagine what it was like. I'm sure they will change it a bit for Dodger's but hopefully it will be better.

Don't worry, I cruised Montreal for an Internet cafe while cruising.

Have any luck cruising...for an internet cafe that is?
I doubt Savannah has much of an internet cafe scene. Oh well, I'll check really late tonight or first thing in the morning. Maybe Trisky & MOG are hanging out with Michael today, so they'll have lots of details to share

I found one, and was cruising there as well. The Internet, that is.
I heart BARE
And I heart "13 Going on 30" just saw it and loved it!
Embarassing confession of the day :-/
WARNING: This is an extemely detailed recap of Bare in Bryant Park. It might be long. VERY long.
So... finally got home. Went to Bryant Park today to catch the guys and gals of Bare and had an AMAZING time. The atmosphere was so laid-back, so cast members from all the shows were literally walking around the park and chatting with fans.
I got there early and sat in the front row. The people to the left of me, behind me, in front of me, and to the right of me were all die-hard Rentheads so they were screaming out the lyrics to all the Rent songs as they were performed... probably the reason for my massive headache right now. But all is good because the Rent cast was amazing.
Anyway... back on topic. I was walking around backstage by the tents and the whole Bare cast was hanging out. Michael was looking gorgeous, as usual, and he spent a lot of time hanging out with Eden Espinosa (who BLEW ME AWAY, btw... she's gonna be HUGE!) at the side of the great lawn, and then Adam came along and started chatting with them. I was about to Michael for a picture, but then they were called for sound check, so I ran back to my seat.
The cast sang four songs: Are You There, Portrait of A Girl, A Quiet Night At Home and One. Adam filled in for John, and it was hillarious because during the part in One where Ivy and Jason start making out and stripping, Jenna playfully started dry-humping Adam and then Adam lifted up part of his shirt and licked part of her face. They were laughing hysterically and really having a great time. This only happened during the sound check though; they didn't do it during the actual performance.
Michael and Aaron were great during their sound check, and at the end of the song they gave eachother high fives. So cute.
When they came off the stage, there was a crowd of teenage girls surrounding Michael and he was extremely extremely nice to all of them. I took a picture with him and he's like, "Thanks for coming out today! I hope you have a great time!" He was just the nicest guy ever. (And ten times more gorgeous in person. Meow!) After I got a picture with him, he went to hang out with the Rent cast and they all looked really chummy. At one point, this deaf guy came up to him and they started conversing in sign language! I was freaking out; it was just so adorable. SO MUCH MICHAEL LOVE - THE HEART CANNOT TAKE IT.
Natalie was so cute; she asked me my name and we literally had a fifteen minute conversation. She's obviously really good friends with Eden Espinosa because during Eden's sound check, she went to the side of the stage and started doing a funny dance which made Eden crack up. Aaron had girls of all ages coming up to him; some of them recognized him from "Newsies" because I heard them talking to him about it. He was really really nice and stood their a LONG LONG time taking pictures with everyone. Such a sweetie.
As for Jenna, I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm the biggest freak ever. I was hanging out with my friend by the tents and we saw her talking with Michael, so my friend was like, "OMG! You have to get a picture with her! She was Libby on Sabrina!" And I'm like, yes, I know, but she's talking to someone right now. Maybe we should wait. But NOOOOO. My friend ran up to her, screamed "MY FRIEND REALLY WANTS TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU!" and both Jenna and Michael looked at me and laughed. Then Michael took my camera (!!!) and said he'll take the picture of me and Jenna. I'm like, thanks. And he did.
I got a picture with everyone in the cast except for Adam. I'm kind of pissed at Adam because my friend and I went up to him and were like, "Hi, can we get a pi -" and then this guy walked up to him and started talking to him, and he literally ignored us even though we know he heard us. Like, he just walked away. He didn't really get near a lot of the fans backstage. I don't know, man. But I had a VERY UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL view of him on the stage and let me just say... the boy DOES have a beautiful ass. I can't really describe it, you just have to see it in person. Heh.
The show was great. Everyone did such a great job! At the end of "One", Michael grabbed his mic and was like, "Hey everyone! Please go see Bare: A Pop Opera! It's opening October 13th and Dodger Stages! Thanks!" and he did a little jump. Then the announcer came on and was like, "Hey! He took my job!" Ha. Aaron started laughing really hard and swatted Michael on the head.
At the end of the show, I saw Michael and Jenna talking to fans on the lawn and someone was handing out Bare samplers, because I saw a lot of people walking around with them.
On a completely unrelated note... Drew Lachey? Is REALLY, REALLY short in person.
That is all.
GREAT REVIEW!!!
I love the cast, they're so great.
Michael...*sigh/swoon/woof* Seriously, this boy is like.... major smiles from AG!
I went. This isn't very detailed. I thought Bare and Brooklyn were great, Rent and Hair were good and The Donkey Show wasn't so good.
I'm not going to write to much about Bryant Park, because Moe Cowbell did such a great job.
What I will say is, I forgot my camera at home today, so I don't have pics
The Cast of Bare handed out CD's after their performance. They were so friendly to everyone. I think that is going to make the show do great. They seem so humble about the amazing show they put on....
I was very happy about Bryant Park today...
What else can a former "rent-head" ask for? Bare, Hairspray, bkln, and Rent (I could have done without Donkey Show)
More Cowbell, THANK YOU for the VERY detailed post, I was waiting to hear some type of great story like yours about meeting the cast, and how things went today! Sounds like you had a wonderful time!!
I CAN NOT believe Michael knows sign language, is there anything he can't do? And that is too funny that he offered to take your camera for you to get a picture with Jenna...I JUST LOVE IT...he is just too kind.
I LOVE MICHAEL ARDEN!!!
Anywho...he knows sign language because of "Big River." The show was done in sign language, and included deaf cast members. *sigh* Once again, refer to the beginning of my post.
OK, Now I feel seriously DUMB, that I did not know that!!! Sorry, if it has been talked about before, or if I should have know enough about Big River to know that, I guess I am not that on top of things. I was just really excited to think of him being able to converse with a fan in sign language and I guess I loss myself.
Hahaha, it's quite fine. "Big River" was great, entirely signed through. The company that put it on was a deaf theater company I believe...very groundbreaking and touching. I find Michael signing to be amazing, he can converse with even his deaf fans. So sweet

Thank you cowbell once again i feel like i was there

AG Does this mean you were a fan of michaels before Bare or did you just happen to see Big River? We never got around to seeing it.
Thanks for the great reviews and the link to the pics! Glad it went so well and that those who went had a great time!
