Well, mesmerized asked for even the lurkers to join in, so here I am. Though, I've always considered myself a stalker rather than a lurker; I think it adds a greater level of mystery and even allure... The euphemism, though, probably invokes less criminal offense. Anyway, I've read the thread forever and even PMed a couple of you before, but I've never posted for fear of being redundant--heaven knows given enough time you all can cover any and all available bases, i.e. the "have your cake and eat me too" rant! Nevertheless:

I'd like to know how he keeps the music circling in his head until he can faithfully transfer it to paper.

If you HAD to change one thing in Bare as is what would it be? "ONE"--I liked the staging, but I've never felt that the song is uniformly strong enough to end the act.

If you could make one thing stay the same what would it be? The ubiquitous and impassioned energy the actors had at the ATA space.

People ask me the same question, too. But for Damon it's different. I don't write that many songs. He seems to be constantly pumping out songs and new musical ideas. If I can get his attention on IM, I'll ask his method.

I'm late too, but I'm on mountain time and I just got back from work. Okay, well I've only posted on this thread once (about page 45) but I've been reading it every night since then, and I've been loving it. Unfortunately, I live in Montana and that doesn't really help me get to know more about bare, but I am going to see it in November and you guys make me want to even more (if that's possible), so I'll play. Just wanted to let you know how much fun it is to read your posts (even if I can't really join in, tear...)

Um...I'm not sure. A couple of the songs seem not to fit so well on the sampler, but that's probably just because it's a selection w/out all the songs, so I can't answer yet.

Just got back from seeing W***** with MoG. Tried our hand at lottery and I finally won the damn thing. We considered not sharing, lest it get us thrown off this thread, but neither of us are particularly known for censoring ourselves.

Though I was cheating on Bare by seeing another show, particularly W******, it just made me all the more excited to get a chance to see Bare all over again. To capture the experience one might say, because I'm very, very good at that.

What will we all do with ourselves once the date actually arrives and we can discuss the show as is, at that very moment? We might combust from the gushing alone!

To answer your question MoG, no, no I do not want to see you jello wrestle, eveh. God knows I love you like a sister, but I don't need to see that. I say we just smear the jello all over John and then the two of you can do battle about who can get it off him more quickly using nothing but your mouths. Have at it.
