emcee - adam never came - he did have family issues and had to stay home to take care of his kids at the last minute - sherie did come to the sh-k-boom and so did billy porter!! they're soooo nice!!


had so much fun today and got a ton of stuff!!

Just came back!
I was there from 10-3 (went to All Shook Up's last) then from 5:30-6:30

I spent $20 at the TKTS table and won..
1 Pair for NAKED BOYS SINGING
1 Pair for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
1 Pair for ONCE AROUND THE SUN
1 Pair for SWEENEY TODD
(btw- i hate u sammy for winning Spelling Bee!!)

1 ALL SHOOK UP Sampler CD for $0.50!!
1 Jekyll and Hyde Windowcard for $1!
3 Once Around The Sun Samplers signed by ASA for FREE!
1 Once Around The Sun hat for FREE!

It was SO much fun working at the ONCE AROUND THE SUN table!
The Market was great!!

i bought:

(1)one of the police helmet/hats [they're black and blue] from "rent" for $5
(2)"wicked" window card for $5
(3)"42nd" street program for $1
(4)2 four packs of "all shook up" nailpolishes that were given away on opening night for $1

and i got pictures with anthony rapp, sutton foster, and laura linney. sutton even signed my "millie" playbill from april 2003. oh, and i got a picture with sherie rene scott.

I got the BC/EFA poster signed by the people in the first three lines.
A DRS poster signed by John and Norbert
and I won a Nine CD

It was so much fun and the people in line were so nice!

I bought the Once on This Island concert on dvd and the Easter Bonnet Competition from this past year. My boyfriend and I also spun that wheel (you know the one where everyone is a winner) and won a bunch of cute little magnets, the first season of South Park on dvd and I got my Peanut Butter and Co. gift certificates. We were trying to win tickets but no such luck.

But oh my God, Once on this Island is so fabulous!

i have a question, after that Sondheim autogrpah went for $7000, i was wondering...how rare is his autograph becuase my parents got me one when they went to see the barrington stage company production of follies this summer with donna mckechnie among others. he was there closing night and my parents got him to sign their playbill. its also personalized with my time. how rare does he sign if that went for SOOO much?

I bought those naughty cookies that NAKED BOYS SINGING! were selling. (grin!)

Also, the chili that the cast of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST were selling was fabulous!!!! I had the vegeterian chili and would have gone back for seconds but I hadn't brought my Bean-O.

I spent lots of time at the photo booth.

I got a picture with raul esparza (the highlight by far), tick, tick...Boom! poster, Big River poster, Capeman poster (if anyone knows anything about this show, I'd love to hear), and Edward Albee signed a Virginia Woolf playbill.

Ah, jealous of you. The Capeman was a big flop with Marc Anthony and Natascia Diaz.

Thanks. I've actually read that review and a whole lot more about the show. One of my teachers played the CD for us in class and now we have a big assignment on it. The class has is about "Freedom and Responsibility." The poster is for my teacher. I was wondering if anyone saw it and what they thought and also exactly why it closed - if it was purely because people weren't going to see it or if there were other political reasons. I know it was controversial.

Do you remember how Mistress said that whenever she goes to these theater events she's the only gal with big boobs sitting in a wheelchair? Remember?

Well there was another gal in a wheelchair at the Flea Market today. She had dark hair and wore glasses. She looked pretty much like the photos I've seen of Mistress, so I went over and asked her if she'd seen Matty yet. She very nicely told me that Matt was due out in the next hour. Then I asked her if she'd take off her jacket so I could see if her boobs were really big. At that point she smacked me and told me if I didn't get away from her she'd call the cops.

Thanks Mistress! Now this poor gal thinks I'm a sex pervert!

Awwwww, they had "Take Me or Leave Me" tank tops? I spent a lot of time at the "Rent" table and never saw them so I guess they sold out quickly.

I got playbills of:

"They're Playing Our Song" OBC
"Carousel" ORC
"Jekyll and Hyde" OBC
"Evita" OBC
"How the Succeed..." ORC
"A Matter of Gravity" OBC (Katharine Hepburn!)

I also got a poster of OBC "Annie" and did the autograph line three times. I got tons of autographs but I only paid for two pictures with Laura Linney.
