My goal for the day was to find something with Lauren Kennedy in it.
If you are not familiar, that left me looking for Sunset Boulevard, Side Show or Les Mis...with 3-to-1 odds of her being in an insert if I actually found a playbill for Side Show.
Unfortunately, I failed.
I did get a Les Mis playbill with Alice Ripley as Fantine, Kevin Kern on an insert as Marius AND Sutton Foster as a Whore!
LOL. Do you think you could scan that insert that has Sutton as a whore? I'd like to use that for something.
And yeah, if you had found a Side Show playbill it would probably be more valuable if it didn't have a slip of paper mentioning Lauren Kennedy.

2 TTB posters
OATS cd
AGNFS cd
Gypsy poster
and my big buy of the day: a bamboo stick from Chitty signed by Gillian Lynne (the choreographer) which Raul then danced with and took a pic w/me
All in all, a light year for me, but wonderful nevertheless!
hehehe. Bamboo. The people at the Chitty table *certainly* knew the words that were the way to my wallet.
Guys, my legs are SO sore. I've been going since 8 this morning!
Ok you know what this is like...reading this and knowing I can't go for a long time. It's like looking at a catalog with really nice things but everything is out of your price range...and all you can do is stare! Thats nuts about the sondhiem auto for all that $$$ I met him, I didnt get anything signed....
I had a very successful visit to the flea market this year. But the best item of the day was a FREE Rent movie poster! (The 11 x 14 promo version.) The guys from Sony handed all them out in less than 20 minutes. I would have paid for it but free is even better! Also a bunch of Rent movie postcards and fold-up flyers.
And a FREE Lennon window card that a guy at a nearby deli gave me after I finally convinced him the show had closed.
Most ridiculous (and fun) purchase - Norbert's prom pic $2 at the ShKBoom table
The rest of loot:
Lennon hat - $5
Lennon glasses - $1
Love Janis hat - $5
Adam Pascal tee - $10
Spelling Bee placard signed by the entire cast - $10
All Shook Up opening night Playbill signed by the entire cast - $10
signed DRS photo of Norbert - $5
signed DRS photo of Sherie - $5
Spelling Bee photo of Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sarah Saltzberg taken during the show, autographed - $2
Kristin Chenoweth's "As I Am" - $5
The Woman In White OCR - $10
2 Taboo pins - $1
The All My Children concert on DVD - $25
I'm going to scan the autographs and the Norbert prom pic and post them on my blog tomorrow. Yay!
I went with a friend...we did well at the Phantom table...and others...
Let's see...I got a bag full of chandelier beads, a rose from Christine's wedding bouquet, a packet with the Notes, a ton of Hugh Panaro programs/Playbills(Martin Guerre, Side Show, Little Fish, Show Boat), some magazines, some great Les Miz photos of Hugh, a cd, a bookmark, POTO Christmas cards, some ivy from the Daae tomb/cross...And the Phantom's green quill pen from STYDI.
And...if you heard some really undignified screaming during the auction of the tickets for opening tickets for "Lestat," well...I was part of the guilty...and jubilant group.
The characiture John Lithgow made for the whole cast of DRS signed by him, a DRS shirt that I believe Sherie made as an opening night gift that says Beur Mon Su Meir(sp? Too tired and lazy to check..) Jackals, an autographed photo from Damn Yankees(first broadway show I ever saw!), a DRS pin, a "Theatre dork" shirt and Seth's chatterbox video of Daphne Ruben Vega and Idina. Can't decide if I'm happy or sad I didn't go to many tables other than DRS..
Aww. I wish I lived near NYC-- sadly, I am on the opposite side. I collect playbills and I soooo wouldve went to town down there. Lol
