BC/EFA Flea Market!!! What did you get???

My goal for the day was to find something with Lauren Kennedy in it.

If you are not familiar, that left me looking for Sunset Boulevard, Side Show or Les Mis...with 3-to-1 odds of her being in an insert if I actually found a playbill for Side Show.

Unfortunately, I failed.
I did get a Les Mis playbill with Alice Ripley as Fantine, Kevin Kern on an insert as Marius AND Sutton Foster as a Whore!

LOL. Do you think you could scan that insert that has Sutton as a whore? I'd like to use that for something.

And yeah, if you had found a Side Show playbill it would probably be more valuable if it didn't have a slip of paper mentioning Lauren Kennedy.

I had a very successful visit to the flea market this year. But the best item of the day was a FREE Rent movie poster! (The 11 x 14 promo version.) The guys from Sony handed all them out in less than 20 minutes. I would have paid for it but free is even better! Also a bunch of Rent movie postcards and fold-up flyers.

And a FREE Lennon window card that a guy at a nearby deli gave me after I finally convinced him the show had closed.

Most ridiculous (and fun) purchase - Norbert's prom pic $2 at the ShKBoom table

The rest of loot:
Lennon hat - $5
Lennon glasses - $1
Love Janis hat - $5
Adam Pascal tee - $10
Spelling Bee placard signed by the entire cast - $10
All Shook Up opening night Playbill signed by the entire cast - $10
signed DRS photo of Norbert - $5
signed DRS photo of Sherie - $5
Spelling Bee photo of Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sarah Saltzberg taken during the show, autographed - $2
Kristin Chenoweth's "As I Am" - $5
The Woman In White OCR - $10
2 Taboo pins - $1
The All My Children concert on DVD - $25

I'm going to scan the autographs and the Norbert prom pic and post them on my blog tomorrow. Yay!

I went with a friend...we did well at the Phantom table...and others...

Let's see...I got a bag full of chandelier beads, a rose from Christine's wedding bouquet, a packet with the Notes, a ton of Hugh Panaro programs/Playbills(Martin Guerre, Side Show, Little Fish, Show Boat), some magazines, some great Les Miz photos of Hugh, a cd, a bookmark, POTO Christmas cards, some ivy from the Daae tomb/cross...And the Phantom's green quill pen from STYDI.

And...if you heard some really undignified screaming during the auction of the tickets for opening tickets for "Lestat," well...I was part of the guilty...and jubilant group.

The characiture John Lithgow made for the whole cast of DRS signed by him, a DRS shirt that I believe Sherie made as an opening night gift that says Beur Mon Su Meir(sp? Too tired and lazy to check..) Jackals, an autographed photo from Damn Yankees(first broadway show I ever saw!), a DRS pin, a "Theatre dork" shirt and Seth's chatterbox video of Daphne Ruben Vega and Idina. Can't decide if I'm happy or sad I didn't go to many tables other than DRS..

Emcee:

When I first asked them about the plexiglass with Raul dancing with the bamboo stick, they said $100. But then I went back at 1pm-ish and they said $50! I was so excited!

But don't fret - it has a VERY good home with me! : )

What did you get??? So fangirly and stupid but it was too cute to pass up, and my only 'big' purchase of the day.

I got a huge Bob Fosse posterboard thing with a photo of him sort of crouching with dancers' legs on either side of him...at the bottom it says "Bob." I have no idea what it was from, but if anyone knows, please fill me in! That was $25, and my major purchase.

Also:

All My Children Anniversary BCEFA concert DVD (also $25)
Spamalot playbill signed by the whole cast $20
Signed copy of The Pillowman $10
Souvenir program from the Bye Bye Birdie tour with Tommy Tune and Marc Kudisch $5
Signed Two Gentlemen of Verona playbill $2
Fosse poster $1
One of the Once Around the Sun photos hanging off of their table $1
Three pins for $1 at the Triton table (My One And Only, Dreamgirls and 9)
Two Urinetown pins for 25 cents each

And I spent $12 at the TKTS table and $10 for the Chita raffle, but failed to win any tickets.

- A giant 'Crazy For You' sign (yeah that was me lugging it around for those of you who noticed.)
- Noises Off windowcard
- 2004 Gypsy of the Year dvd
- "Colored Lights" book by Kander and Ebb
- Vinyard Theater book of plays ( which I had signed by the wonderful Edward Albee)
- Funny Boy playbills from 'The Producers'
- Hair benefit CD
- a whole boat load of 'Nine' pins ( I'm currently in a production)from Triton
- Gypsy poster (didn't actaully buy it it was my consolation prize from the wheel)
- I got a picture of Joanna Gleason, which she graciously signed plus I got my picture with her ( that was my goal for the day). Luckily I got that while she was at the DRS table so I didn't have to enter the insane mess that was the celebrity table ( which my original plan)
- won tickets to "The Musical of Musicals" at the TKTS booth.
I think I covered eveything and I only spent just under a hundred bucks!
