BCEFA FALL COLLECTIONS
re: BCEFA FALL COLLECTIONS#25
Posted: 11/1/09 at 11:13pmSome theatres sell the Carols CD, others don't. I know that PHANTOM, BILLY ELLIOT & SHREK have the CD, but A STEADY RAIN doesn't.

Thank you! I'm seeing Shrek for Thursday, so this makes it all the easier.

Posted: 11/1/09 at 11:19pmMemphis, as of Sat matinee, had the CD, signed windowcards for $100, and pieces of the broken records (signed, dated, and numbered so you know which performance it is from) for $40.

At the Saturday matinee, The Lion King was selling signed posters, the Carols for a Cure CD, pictures with Young Simba and Young Nala ($20), and backstage tours. They didn't give out prices during the plea, but I heard someone saying the price for the pictures while walking out.
Mamma Mia didn't do anything this afternoon.

On a blog:
***$20,000 for Hugh Jackman & Daniel Craig
By Pearl Chen
It’s Broadway Cares drive season again, and after today’s matinee performance of A Steady Rain, two women EACH bid $10,000 for a shirt off the backs of Hugh Jackman or Daniel Craig. For charity of course. They also walked away with autographed photos and a meet-and-greet with Broadway’s resident Wolverine and James Bond.***

Oleanna posters are available...not sure about the cost. Playbills are $20.
Rock of Ages - posters are $75 and playbills are $20.
Superior Donuts posters are $60 and playbills are $20.
The cast of FINIAN'S RAINBOW was signing posters this past weekend. Does anyone know the price? Also, does anyone know about signed posters at TOXIC AVENGER or AVENUE Q over at New World Stages? Any other show updates? I have a feeling that RAGTIME will be participating in the next week with signed posters and items as there still are 3 more weeks of collections and the show is now officially opened.

At After Miss Julie, they have playbills signed by the three actors for only $10. They said that they wouldn't be signing autographs at the stage door because of that and instead would be standing in the back of the orchestra with buckets.
They also had Sienna's GI Joe dvd (signed), though I forget the price, and one remaining doll of her character from that movie (also signed) going for $100. Or maybe they went together, I apologize for not remembering those details. I do remember that it is a blu-ray dvd because Sienna was like, "I don't even know what Blu-Ray is!" And Jonny replied, "It's a fish!" Their speech was so adorable and funny. I'm surprised they're not doing more though.

At Steady Rain's matinee today, the tee shirts went for $4000, the meet and greets went for $2000, posters were $300 or 2 for $500, and the Playbills were $60. Craig and Jackman (or Jackman and Craig, if you prefer) were wonderfully relaxed after a very intense performance. I didn't care for the play - saw every plot twist from a mile away - but I thought the gentlemen gave it everything they had. To my surprise, thought Craig had somewhat the edge even though his part is less flamboyant.

Posted: 11/18/09 at 9:34pmAt HAIR this afternoon, they had the Carols for a Cure CDs for $20 and posters for $100. Will Swenson said they ran out of playbills, but as I was leaving I saw some cast members signing a huge stack of them so they'll probably have them again soon.
