"Always Look on the Bright Side of Life(Company bow)"-SpamAlot
--- its cheesy but fun :)
But anything that can bring a tear to your face definetly gets me, wickes whole ending did that for me.

Does "Goodbye" from the Producer's count?
...other than that, I'm going to have to agree with For Good.
I'm not sure if it's a goodbye song, but "I guess I'll miss the man" from pippin is nice.
What about "Y'all Got it?" from the Wiz?

Elizabeth_DeBris, you should have said this one:
"Being Alive - Like It Was - Old Friend" from Putting It Together
"Goodbye Love" from Rent
"For Good" from Wicked

I think this is technically a goodbye song, although it's up for debate-- "The Last Midnight" from Into the Woods. Oh, and maybe "No More."

I know! I just got the DVD, so I basically cry for those ten to fifteen minutes straight. I don't know if I've seen those scenes clearly yet; my eyes are usually cloudy.

Oooh! How about "Without You" from My Fair Lady!!! Not one of your git-wrenching goodbye songs...more like an F-you goodbye song, but still goodbye and still fab.

ONCE BEFORE I GO...
I want you to know
That I would do it all again
I'm sure I'd make the same mistakes
But I could make it through
The pains and joys and aches
I knew back then
I'd do it all
I'd do it all again.
Can you imagine hearing this at the closing performance of THE BOY FROM OZ? It wasn't just the show's eleven o'clock number ( which drew regular pre-finale standing ovations during the run) but it changed character on that last day - it changed to one of Hugh Jackman saying goodbye to Broadway ( hopefully, not forever). But it was very poignant at that moment and brought a wave of such sadness at the Imperial!
