The usual greek chorus of haters. If you follow this thread, the same 2-3 very angry people. It was a simple reporting of a very factual note of potential filming of this production. Doubt it? 1) who cares 2) go ask the production team, they were put on notice should the funds be raised 3) do not respond - but certain beloved ones can not help themselves. 

 

Regardless, they could not find the $1.2 million to film the show, it will close Sunday. No tour, no educational productions, what 12 year old cares about Betty Boop?

I'm sure it'll wind up at one of the four licensing houses and do some regionals and school productions, eventually becoming one of those shows like Tuck Everlasting that pops up every now and then. It didn't do so badly that it's going to get Lestated from the record and absolutely suppressed.

This is literally the only place I've heard this "very factual note of potential filming" which absolutely doesn't make me think it's a thing you made up to mock the show for what seems like the thousandth time.
