There is a buzz going around that David Foster is trying to raise money to have Boop! filmed before it closes Sunday. Why? Why would any investor sink more cash into this? Who would buy the film? Kids, gotta love da business!

So you’re saying that with less than a week to go before the show closes, he’s trying right now to raise money to then get the equipment and people needed for a filming, pay for everyone to rehearse, pay for what’s probably an extra performance or two without an audience to film and everything else that goes with it? With less than a week to do it?

Did Redwood get filmed for the TOFT archive?  It wasn't great, but certainly seemed more worthy of recording just for Menzel's performance.

Babe, the buzz in your head doesn't count. I gotta tell ya tho, I have NEVER seen someone on here fail at an audition and then proceed to bash the show for months and months, making up sh*t like you attended the opening night party, lies about the cast recording, lies about the entire cast/crew, and finally the lie that it will be filmed. I had no idea the bitterness and obsession that goes along with not being cast in a show. Amazing.

OMG! I also heard this AND I heard Boop will be a revival for the 2027 season directed by Jamie Lloyd with either Nicole or Audra as Betty. Isn't that fabulous delightful news? So excited! Can't wait!
