I love RENT a lot too. I was in it last summer (see my avatar) but they really just need to let the piece rest for a while. I have secret hopes that in about 10-15 years they bring it back and put in in Circle in the Square...

It was a reason to go to Chicago. Wasn't as well sung as the Broadway and off-Broadway incarnations, but that was part of the point (the main Chicago critic didn't get it). And it wasn't even if they weren't good singers. They just weren't Adam Pascal and Idina.
It stripped the show down to its basics, as if it were being performed in an off-off Broadway, warehouse venue. Only with fantastic actors (the acting was where this really upped the quality) and subtle, amazing directing.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
