BROADWAY.COM IS CLOSING THEIR MESSAGE BOARD!!!

#25my user name....
Posted: 5/15/03 at 7:40pm

um, I notice that my username from the broadway.com board has (kind of) been picked up by another one of the gang, except with a space in it. So there's two of us, one with a gap, one without. (There's a joke in there somewhere!)

Where is mine, I want mi-ine!!!!!!!!

When I made the switch, I was planning on using a new AKA but Rex wouldn't stand for it! Meet Rex!!

My perfect day would begin at on the beach in Hana, Maui and end at a Broadway Musical.

Um, that could get confusing... and I didn't even know you existed at Broadway.com until today. I wasn't stealing your name... it's been my dream role since I was 14. :- Infact, my screen name on AOL used to be Daisy Hilton. (And many another variation of Daisy...)

I registered here about four days ago... I really would rather not change my user name, but it seems ridiculous for two people to have the same one, no?

Hi Daisy Hilton (and all other broadway lovers....)

Went for the next best thing (tried Violethilton but that was gone...) So now we can all be individuals. Hurrah.

I love a happy ending.

Bye for now,
The former daisyhilton....

The former daisyhilton (of the broadway.com hiltons) Do you like it? I only wore it once...

The crumbs are slowly dribbling over!

Though hope Once a dancer logged on to Broadway.com before they close the board.

Wait... Violet was already taken? Hmm. That's strange. And thank you... I didn't mean to cause a big fuss over it. Just didn't want to confuse all the board members.

I kept my name, it's my real nickname by the way, I guess nobody else wants it anyway. Now I just gotta fix this scanner thing so I can get a picture. Oh well, so much for anonimity.

Broadway.com has a message board? I had no idea. I've always been focused exclusively with Broadway World. from RC in Austin,Texas

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Broadway.com should crash and burn. The robbery they get away with in dealing with tickets sales is equivalent to ticket scalping. Service fees?? For what?? Their fees are 5x more than ticketmaster or telecharge.

I never buy tickets from broadway.com unless I get a gift certificate from a loved one. I was stunned that I couldn't get a decent seat for $200. I have since asked family not to use that site anymore..
