In my opinion, this is a better role for her than Elle. Perfect, perfect, perfect! She can't really pass as a high schooler, but that's nothing new in film/tv/theatre. Good for her!

*EDIT: I think she reads as older than her age. I'm sure she'll be believable when on enters the world of the show. This is also a brilliant marketing move. I'm SURE HSM has a lot of audience overal with not just "Legally Blonde" but also wtih "The Search for Elle Woods." Can't you just picture the 10 or 13-year-old girl who couldn't make it to Blonde begging her mom to see this so she can still see Bailey? Updated On: 10/7/08 at 03:05 PM

Isn't Bailey only 19 or 20? She definitely looks like she could still be in high school. I think the outright snobbery of Sharpay will definitely play to her strengths. I'm sure her fierce dancing will help too.

That's so great for Bailey, now there won't be a huge gap or hiatus for people to forget about her. She'll do a great job with this role.

It's a good thing she is staying away from performing the typical blonde role that always calls attention to the fact she is a blonde... yeah, perfection indeed.

I think that's funny too and not really correct unless Troy and Gabriella are going to off themselves in "HSM 3: Senior Year". People always try to make things much more important and starcrossed than they actually are.

It's super-easy to get to Paper Mill from NYC - Take NJ Transit from Penn Station to Millburn, and the theatre's only a few minutes walk away.
