Hello!! In lieu of Rush Report, can anyone tell me what The Band's Visit morning rush situation typically looks like for a 2pm matinee?

For this particular production, use StubHub on the day of the performance for best deal on best seats instead of rush.

Is this theater okay with scanning digital tickets from your phone? Or do they make you print them? Last night I saw orchestra seats for $25 5 minutes before showtime but I’m guessing it doesn’t do much good if you have to find a place to print in 5 minutes.

Telecharge doesn’t do digital tickets, so, yes, you’d have to find a place to print them. Some people use the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, and I believe the StubHub office on 39th and Broadway can print them, as well.

When I went a few weeks ago, the Barrymore was able to print the StubHub ticket for me. More info here:

Thanks very much for this discussion. I hadn't realized there were so many cheap tickets on Stubhub for Band's Visit. Yesterday I bought a $36 ticket in side Orchestra Row E around 3 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show last night - just walked over to the Stubhub office to pick it up. Had I waited until around 5, I could have nabbed a $25 ticket in Orchestra A (third row). I was grateful to have sat so close to the stage because the show is so intimate.

Posted: 4/8/18 at 9:33pmHas anyone had experience with rush? It looks like all responses thus far are in regards to stubhub. I’ve seen some rear mezz tickets on stubhub for $40ish but I’m wondering if I would get better seats for the same price if I just do rush!

Hi Show Off,
I got 2 rush tickets last night (Saturday 4/9th) for the 8pm show. Great seats, side orchestra, Row F for $40 each. The box office said they had plenty of rush seats left. The show itself was beautiful and lived up to the hype. I would highly recommend and think you should be fine to rush!

I got a rush ticket on the 30th of March, and I got in line at around 830am.

Hey guys! Has anybody rushed this in the past week or so? I understand it'll probably be a little crazier this week with the nominations. I would use Stubhub but the prices haven't been dropping recently - I'm worried on relying on it. Any recent reports?

Posted: 5/2/18 at 9:41amYeah I think the Tony nominations are going to keep the prices above $50 at least - which is still a deal for orchestra seats. I wanted to rush sometime this month since I've had no luck with the lottery, so I too would appreciate any reports!

It was not recent..I rushed while it was still in previews last October, but our seats were on the far side orchestra, for $40 and though were warned we might not see something that was staged on the far end of the stage, it was fine and we loved being so close to this intimate and beautiful show. We only got in line about 830 a.m. at the time. and there were just a few people ahead of us, though of course that can change now that the noms are out. Just wanted to let those know that the rush seats are very good if you can't find on stubhub...

Posted: 6/6/18 at 11:55amI rushed this morning and there was about15 people in front of me. I was able to get two box rush tickets for the evening performance.

I got there at 9am. There were probably another 6 behind me by the time it opened. Interesting to note the performance was advertised as sold out when we got there for the performance but the front centre orch was empty apart from two people.
i must say I thought the show was pretty awful. By far the weakest show I've seen this trip. I was so disappointed as I wanted to love it. By far the weakest of the best musical nominees for me.
