Have you heard or witnessed someone getting banned from theater either at any of the local, regional and much more at Broadway theaters because of distractive behaviors?

How about getting fined for taking pictures, being ejected for rowdiness, etc....

I am wondering because I always hear of stories of people throwing panties on stage, recording shows, eating big meals, etc....

You seem suspiciously concerned about this issue.

Are you implying that antonijan is guilty of throwing panties onstage at JLY?

Panties thrown on stage at a Broadway show??????

That's sad, tragically sad- I mean- you have to be a loser if Broadway is your equivalent to a rock concert.

Not to mention that you actually lost your panties- making you a literal loser (of panties).

In all my years of theatre going, I have yet to see someone throwing panties onstage. The only thing I've seen that was remotely scandalous at a show was someone videotaping (42nd Street).

For some reason, I imagined the panty-throwing happening during Javert's Suicide, for the least appropriate (and yet, most hilarious) incidence possible.

i would think if one lost their panties, it could potentially reak in of itself.

I've never heard of anyone being banned from a theatre but I've certainly seen many Rentheads whom I've wished would be banned!

I've seen several cameras confiscated over the years from people who are stupid enough to be taking pics inside the theatre.

Have never seen anyone throw ANYthing onstage, let alone panties.

Maybe the panty throwing only happens at Jersey Boys in San Francisco. I haven't heard about it happening at the Broadway production.

Oy, there was an incident yesterday at the Company Theatre. These two women were in charge of this group of people with Down's Syndrome. Apparently, they got into a hissy fit because they all weren't sitting together and thought they were being discriminated against. They even accused one of the usherettes (who, by the way, is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet) of giving them attitude. I have nothing against the mentally handicapped (hell, I AM mentally handicapped) but those two women's behavior was uncalled for. I wanted to take a picture of them with my phone camera just so we could remember what they looked like so we could deny them service next time.

Even roses?

I've seen that at a few closing nights.

Yeah, I think they throw flowers at closing and opening nights.

I've thrown flowers for an opening performance, so did others - then the smell of flowers got too strong.

Lizzie, I've only seen an example of one closing night and that was the DVD of Smokey Joe's Cafe.

Someone I know is very allergic to flowers and went to a closing performance of a show (where people brought flowers).

She had to leave after 10 minutes because of her allergies...even after taking all the medicine.

neddy, she does go out during spring but tries to avoid the things she is most allergic to. She takes a lot of allergies meds. I think since it was an inclosed space (in the theatre), it made it worse.

I know of someone who was banned for sitting in the front row and continuously booing a cast member.
