Since there was no Brooklyn board, I'm posting here...

Who will be singing with Barbra?
"Streisand will perform her hits from each decade plus songs from her new album, “ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway,” celebrating a career of unparalleled creative achievement. "
Of course this is announced the day after I max out my credit card for the month booking a trip for which I had to entirely prepay, haha.

Wasn't it "the last tour" two or three tours ago?
You cannot have to many farewell tours.
Enough people fall for it enough times and voila time for another one.
Your confusing her with Cher. I am definitely going. Got my tickets for Miss Ross, Dolly Parton, Adele, and now Babs. Going to be a fun divalicious summer.
DAME that sounds like an excellent summer, enjoy!
But Waaaaaaah! (tears of frustration)
How is she supposed to accomplish this tour AND prep for her upcoming Gypsy movie. Sure, she isn't directing the film anymore, but she's still supposed to go before cameras by October. Maybe the tour in August IS her way to prep the instrument...

Dame, you should add Aretha. Anybody know what Miss Streisand's ticket prices will be?

Anyone see the track list for “ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway,”?

Apparently there's a fan club presale starting tomorrow (the 16th) -- anyone know the code?
I am not trying to mean but wonder how good her voice is at 74.
Probably not much different than it was 4 years ago at 70.

No track list or artists announced for this new album. No date, either. I'm sure it will be timed to ensure her a #1 position for the first week of release. Hell, I'd do the same...wait until the competition's release plans are more solidified so she can slip in on a weaker release date. She'll probably nail a #1 position first week, anyway.
Ticket prices for Boston on August 16th range from $250 to $4,000(front row), with the majority of the floor seats going for $1,500.

Thanks Dame...Sounds like you have one great summer lined up...
There was a farewell tour in 2000, followed by another in 2006...Believe some fans in 2006 actually sued saying they bought tickets under false representation...I'll try and find the link....
At the end of the day, I'm happy she's back on the road and plan on trying to see her in Brooklyn.

Not to mention I'm sure the scalpers have their bots all warmed up. I don't think a lot of those tickets are going to end up in the hands of actual fans. Well, maybe the ones with fast reflexes...
And very big wallets. The beat goes on.
Hopefully this will keep her 73 year-old mitts off Gypsy.

The way things are panning out she will be 80 by the time she does "Gypsy".
