He could. But it isn't very difficult to get actors to say they want to do things... and unless you're an above the title name, no one is going to pivot on anything like that. Does Diane's vision of 1776 include someone like Will Roland? That is what will decide things."
It's likely that the Paulus version might be gender swapped - I have a former student that is in the process of auditioning for Paulus and it's not for either of the traditional female roles."
Oh, that would be really cool! I would love to see a gender-swapped 1776. (And add my name for Will Roland as Abigail Adams.

I got a notification for a $20 Show-Score Member Night ticket, which I think is pretty much the kiss of death. Most of the nights are sold out, which is nice, but not exactly good for ticket sales. I'm betting this doesn't last until Labor Day.

This show was doing just fine until the OP started this thread yesterday telling the show to close and then it was all downhill from there. I hope you're happy!

Yes, Uncle Charlie! Now we have proof!
I saw it solo during my recent trip, and found myself thinking about it more and more with each passing day since. My husband and I are heading to NY together in early August and we just bought tickets for the last Saturday performance.
