Posted: 7/14/14 at 10:15pmSo why has Jessie Mueller opted not to reprise her role in the West End production? Does anyone know how long she'll stay with the Broadway production?

Posted: 7/14/14 at 10:20pmI'm hoping it's because she's attached to something amazing after her contract is up.

Posted: 7/15/14 at 9:39amDid Jessie Mueller kill someone in the UK long ago?

Posted: 7/15/14 at 9:49amNo she didn't. But there is a reason...and you'll find out soon enough why.

Posted: 7/15/14 at 9:49amThere was evidence that she killed a man by the name of Edwin Drood. But the evidence is spurious, and it seemed like each person who looked at the case saw a different prime suspect.

Posted: 7/15/14 at 3:18pmEven if she got caught with pot or a DUI, she can't leave the country right? Maybe something like that?

Posted: 7/15/14 at 3:36pmShe said she would gladly hop over the pond for a while, ether she didn't want to right away or maybe she's actually planning to go with the show on the road.

Posted: 7/15/14 at 6:50pmProbably because of a trade-off with another American actor heading across the pond in exchange for a British actor?

I can't figure out the last part of the sentence about the other stars staying put. Anyone, or to quote a great Carole King song, "anyone at all," care to decipher it for me.
This means the incredible Jessie Mueller, who won a Tony Award this year for her portrayal of the music icon, will not be appearing in London, but the other New York stars "are staying put", writes the Mail's Baz Bamigboye.

From the daily mail article the bww article is based on:
"As I mentioned a few weeks back, Beautiful, the musical about Carole King, will go to the Aldwych early next year. I’m told the New York leads are staying put and a British actress is being sought to portray Carole." I assume the strange phrasing in the bww article was just a mistake.

She's a sleazy character, I saw her making love to her brother.

Posted: 7/22/14 at 9:00amI think it might just be about getting British leads (like Jersey Boys did). I would rather see her work on a new production (original or revival), instead of playing Carole King role in the West End.

"There was evidence that she killed a man by the name of Edwin Drood. But the evidence is spurious..."
No evidence required; she confessed to that murder, and I HEARD HER CONFESS.
