Did you read my post? Someone earlier in the thread suggested moving/closing TKAM, moving BJ to the Shubert and opening MM at the Winter Garden. My post says that ellbell’s idea of moving TKAM and letting MM open at the Shubert instead of the WG is the better idea. It’s an idea, that’s all it is. Relax. 

Additionally, when this was all first announced lots of articles noted that the Shuberts will help BJ make their move. Whether that means financially or not is a mystery we will likely never know the answer to, but I wouldn’t completely rule out the Shuberts aiding at least somewhat in the cost to move BJ because of the situation here.

There would be one move, and although this would never happen, I think it's a great idea. Music Man works much much better in the shubert anyways.

The Shubert Company should reconsider. Will they? Probably not, but it's stupid to close a sell that has been consistently selling even before the closing notice.

That makers zero sense.  TKAM is doing much better business than BJ.  Why move it when it is selling out; while prices have been reduced recently to keep the theatre filled (the same tactic started incredibly successfully by BOM 3 - 4 years ago, and also -- I assume temporarily, but who knows -- employed by MR and Hadestown), looking ahead, the theatre has already sold lots of seats and prices appear tome on the rise once winter passes.

Assuming the TKAM manages to sell out for the remainder of the winter (IMO a very safe bet), by Easter, it will have played almost 18 moths of sold out performances, that in a large theatre normally housing musicals.  When is the last time that has happened:  Life With Father?

I do believe that it will make sense to move TKAM to a smaller theatre at some point (right next store to the Broadhurst??), but that is not now, and certainly not for BJ.
