Telecharge says that Norbert will be out of My Fair Lady from November 6 at 7pm through Sunday, November 11 at 3pm... I doubt that's enough time to do a Pre-Broadway run. My guess is that it is someone else. I think Christopher Fitzgerald would be wonderful!

How do you know? That tweet seems to say otherwise.

Kerry Butler is leaving Mean Girls on Sept. 9, which would seem to indicate she's going into Beetlejuice.

Love Kerry Butler and think her her personality fits the material perfectly. Thought she was great in Mean Girls, if underused.
Danny Pudi visited Butler at Mean Girls 2 weeks ago or so, if that means anything

I'm sure it'll be redone, but the logo and branding as of now are pretty ugly IMO.

I have a feeling he's just going to give us Jack Black 2.0

The character has been Jack Black 2.0 in all the "Graveyard Revue" theme park shows, and essentially in the cartoon too, which predates Jack Black.
I get the sense that "mumbling, stream-of-consciousness East Pittsburgh lowlife" is a hard character type to create and sustain, and only Keaton's experience working in the Steel City theatre scene among the stage hands enabled him to go there with such specificity.

PLEASE GOD NO. I worked at Universal Orlando for 2 years and had to deal with hearing that stupid show daily.
I want a fresh take on the character. if that's possible...

Posted: 8/16/18 at 6:20pmI don't care much for Alex's work. I was hoping for Christopher Fitzgerald in the part. Alex just kind of over acts and calls it comedy, which might just make his Beetlejuice annoying. I just think he lacks specificity.

I'm surprised, given his recent tweet and given that Fitzgerald just left Waitress after nearly two-and-a-half years. But I still think he could be really good! Haven't we all just seen him do School of Rock? What other examples do we have of his acting/comedic abilities? His ensemble roles?

I have a good feeling about Kerry in this and I am SO. EXCITED. She was so unbelievably underutilized in Mean Girls and often under appreciated by "stans" of the show. For her sake, I hope this is a good role for her. She deserves something really strong.
