If she was already working a split track to accommodate her needs, the fact that her union went to bat for her and the show allegedly refused any compromise seems like a clear-cut violation of the ADA. Also, if she had any formal disciplinary actions against her, the union would have been aware since they are usually in the room when the discipline is administered.

Absolutely insane to attempt to nickel and dime one of the most profitable shows of all time especially knowing how they'd be making money hand over fist when Odom came back for those 12 weeks.

She has a clear cut case here...
the decision coincided with a new actor joining the show whose contract required a dresser to work eight shows per week, and that reasonable alternatives were proposed but not adopted.
Considering Leslie Odom Jr. is the reason Mark was brought on to Hamilton in the first place, I’m shocked he didn’t work with the show and adjust his contract to allow Mark to continuing working.
So if they felt the work had become too physically demanding for her in June, why were they keeping her until this "New" cast member came in? (2 plus months after she was called in)
I am not an Odom fan, but It seems that maybe he is not aware of what is going on? If he is, then it is sad that he isn't allowing this split shift for just the 12 weeks he will be there. He would at least have her for 4 shows and it would be a great show of support for what she has been and is going through. I actually have a friend I work with who is going through the same thing. His doctor said he had to reduce his shifts to 3 a week while on medication for his cancer. Our job was totally supportive.
I'm with her and hope that, if everything is true that she has handled her 4 shows with no problem and that others were doing this split shift thing not associated with health, she wins her case and gets a very nice settlement if possible. Although she wants to be reinstated, which to me says she feels she is still up to doing the job she loves and wants to continue working. JMO
It’s being pointed that it’s Odom is the cause of her firing. Of course that’s all social media speculation.
I think there's a distinction to be made -- between Odom and Odom's contract. His contract very well might have had the 8-shows a week dresser stipulation, and the production may not have even thought to approach him (or even wanted to), to see if he'd wave it. Again, speculation -- but something I'd get out in front of, if I were him.
