If you can find tickets for an earlier date (before mid-November), I believe Telecharge will do an exchange.
"
thanks
I'll have to look into this tomorrow. I'm sure it's gonna be tough finding a show available but i'll definitely check. Thanks for the info

If I didn't know it was supposed to be him, and he wasn't holding the caricature, I would never have guessed.
By the way, I don't know if it will keep working, but a number of people on these boards have had success getting Dear Evan Hansen tickets by checking about four days in advance in the early afternoon (Eastern time). There have been a few stray tickets, and some together, released then. I was able to get three tickets together in the orchestra, regular price, that way. Others have succeeded as well. Just check Telecharge starting five days before the show you want to attend. I don't know if the "four-day trick" still works, but it's worth a try.

Friends have told me the four day trick is becoming harder nowadays. After all, summer season is one of the prime seasons for Broadway.
As for exchanging with Telecharge, if you're willing to upgrade yourself to a premium ticket, they won't have a problem with that.
From what I noticed, the only tickets left are premium tickets. I can't believe I'm saying this but the mezz tickets are 'reasonably' priced at $250/$299. After the Tony awards I bet you those will increase to over $350. At the moment orchestra premium tickets are $399 but after the Tonys I can see those increasing again.... so do the exchange/upgrade before June 11th!

These ceased being caricatures long ago. Now they are just weak drawings. I haven't been impressed by one in a loooooooong time.

Since the Tony nominations were announced, it has become harder to get non-premium tickets using the 4-day trick. I got lucky and was able to get a ticket through StubHub, center mezannine for $184, Row G, early last month. Telecharge was only showing $400 tickets during the same period. I agree that non-premium tickets will be harder to get from here on out, especially after the Tonys.

mother and girlfriend ended up telling me to just not even do an exchange, to just buy premium seats for them for a show in September while keeping our original tickets in December in case they want to see it again with whoever replaces Ben
Bought second row center mezzanines for $630 total for two seats. Hope they enjoy it and really hope Ben is at least definitely there for them in mid September
