Great! This, along with Sunday at the Barbican, will require me to spend money on more theatre memberships! lol!
This will most definitely sell out quickly as it's the Menier with a BIG STAR like Ben Platt!

Loved this back in 2018 Off-Broadway. It’s not life-changing but the music is excellent and it’s a very bittersweet musical. I think Platt is perfect for the role—a gay crooner in the 60s in his feelings. I’m tempted to cross the pond. It’s set in a nightclub and plays out a la Hedwig with a concert in a club and dramatic moments interspersed.

It got a rave from Laura Collins-Hughes in the NYT for its York Theatre production pre-Covid.
The author, Mark Sonnenblick, is likely to win an Oscar for “Golden” from KPOP DEMON HUNTERS, and is also the new co-lyricist on the London DEVIL WEARS PRADA. Here he’s written the book, music and lyrics.

I look forward to seeing Platt in the Menier's intimate space despite the often tortuous bench seating. Public booking begins mid-March.
The March one-week run of The Last Five Years with Rachel Zegler sold out, but I imagine that is much more due to her than him.
