yup he barely hit the notes the night I saw it
but he acted the hell out of it
Your reading comprehension skills must be just as high as your ability to make sense in writing. Perhaps we can assume you're just playing dumb, will that be your next claim? One does not roll her eyes in lust, but rather in disgust at rampant idiocy.
You sir, have proven my point by repeating yourself as if I sailed right over your head. But sure, I just want so desperately to get in his pants and I'm gonna try to turn him straight. That's really all I give a damn about. You don't agree with me, so instead of your opinion being less-than infallible, it's me who's off my rocker and that's all there could possible be to it. Do you have any idea how pathetic that is? You're so hung up on being right, and that was all you had left, whether you want to admit it or not. Opinion is by definition fallible.
Point still stands to the degrees of lameness reached by the necessity to pull that BS (whether you're aware you're making up a lie or are actually that blind is I suppose irrelevant). It shouldn't shock me by now, though, that you'd go and do that.
So, Curtain, he acted the hell out of a song he only delivered somewhat well in a performance in which he didn't play the part that was written.
You're awfully fickle, aren't you?
Funny, I felt that Esparza really won me over during his singing but during the book scenes I was not exactly impressed though it had A LOT more to do with the direction than with Esparza. His "Stoooop" right before "Being Alive" is deserving of a nomination alone (yes yes, I'm using a hyperbole), and I thought his scene with Barbara Walsh was brilliant to watch just because both of them were so good playing to each other. However, there were some earlier book scenes where I just wasn't getting the same brilliance of those late moments, though as I said I think John Doyle is the one to blame.
I did not feel David Hyde Pierce had a weak moment in Curtains, he won me over from the second he stepped on stage and I kept wanting to see more of him. The roles are completely different, Hyde Pierce does not get a "Being Alive" moment and he does not have to display the same range of emotion than Esparza does, and yet I feel he shines all throughout the show and that's why I'd like him to win. However, as I've stated many times before, I believe Esparza is very much deserving of the award and I think he'll win.
Raul Esparza
Johnathan (sp?) Groff
David Hyde Pierce
Brian d'Arcy James (maybe?)
If Kusidch was ruled as featured I'm guessing d'Ardcy will be as well.
D'Arcy James was ruled as Leading Actor. His three roles are quite more substantial than Kudisch' (except for his role in Act III). I hope he gets an acting nomination though I'm not sure he will.
Raul deserves to win this year and he should.....
I hope it goes down as:
Raul Esparza
David Hyde Pierce
Hadley Fraser
Michael Cerveris
Jonathan Groff or Steve Kazee or Brian D'Arcy James for the fifth slot

I'd be surprised if Martin Short didn't get a nod.

When will we know about the Tony rulings on the last round of shows? for example....will Christian Borle be featured? Hadley Fraser? and the guys from 110...I would assume Steve Kazzee will be leading since he is above the title but what about John Cullum? Christopher Innvar? Ceveris is a for sure lead but I am not familiar with any of these shows so any ideas?

Groff.
Although I think Gallagher is probably more deserving, he'll be in the supporting category.
He is young, very marketable, and in the show most popular with the demographic non-disney commercial broadway is trying to attract.
also, whoever said spring is not tourable is nuts. This show is generating a rent-esque craze amongst many young theatre-lovers and will tour. The b'way version on the other hand might not be around much past the tonys unless ticket sales pick up.
I kind of hope Gavin Lee or Martin Short win... but I do love Raul.
