Just wondering... Who do you think played the best Elphaba so far? (Including Ana Gasteyer, Stephanie J. Block, and non-broadway performances)

Um, from who I am seen, Idina. But I am hopefully seeing Stephanie soon, so she will probably be close.

God bless you Emo!

I swear, i think there should be 4 boards on this site....Message, Off-Topic, Student, and WICKED..

I know it sounds extreame, but seriously think about it....Think how many WICKED posts pollute the board every day, and because of people's lack of search....they're usually 7/10 times the same posts.

I think Eartha Kitt was waaaaay better than Idina or Eden. I loved the way she growled back at the baby lion.

I have to agree that Elaine Stritch is the best Elphaba.

re: Best Elphaba from Wicked...

Welcome COOOOLkid,

I, too, felt the backlash when I posted about an already popular topic when I was a newbie.

As for my fav. Elphaba, haven't actually seen the show yet. But am friends with the understudy in Chicago. Anyone know if Courtney Corey has had the chance to go on yet? (or should have I have done a search before asking?) :)

re: Best Elphaba from Wicked...

Wait--is Wicked similar to Naked Boys Singing? That was a good one.

Parks shut up. You are NOT funny. You and Sumofallthings need to give up this notion that you can make people laugh. Shut Up!

re: Best Elphaba from Wicked...

Perhaps he's just having a bad day. Who knows?

I should probably appologize for my rude posts. Even though they weren't really rude...just poking fun...I did the same thing for my first post here. I didn't even say anything about hating Wicked or Wicked fans...so...(no idea where I'm going with that).

re: Best Elphaba from Wicked...

repeated wicked threads are great because they always turn into something completely different from the topic subject.
