Who do you think has the best head shot in Broadway? Lighting wise, positional wise etc., basically which shot really captures the actor in question. I would say Norbert Leo Butz's does. Thespain Geek has it has his avatar if you want to see it. That is the perfect picture of Norbert and it just looks fantastic. If I ever get a headshot, I want the guy that did his to take mine.

Like..most attractive? Best lighting? Most resemblance? I'm sort of confused...
I've seen many headshots where it looks like they are actually somwhere, like in a garden or in front of a building, and I know it's not a backdrop. Don't you take headshots in a studio in front of a plain backdrop? or can you get them taken at a certain actualy place like a courtyard or a garden?
I like the one Idina used for Wicked. Gavin Creel's is also cute, the one with short hair he used in La Cage Aux Folles. I also like Billy Crudup's

Megan Hilty's headshot is so VERY Megan.
ETA: Hey! Megan should have her own NBC show called "SO VERY MEGAN"

BSO--uh-huh. Just'cause you came up with a title doesn't mean it would be a successful show.
And I think John Jeffrey Martin's headshot is awsome.

No, it would be successful because Megan rocks.
JK - not even Bette could sustain a solo show.
But Kristen's show was a runaway hit....
....
ok maybe not (I managed to catch the ONE episode of that crap. She was really cute in it though).
Akiva
Megan Hilty. It is her personality in one picture, shes such a sweet woman.
And that title "So Very Megan" sounds too much like "That's so Raven"

I really like Kelli O'Hara's head shot... it's gorgeous
But then again, she always is

I like Victoria Clark's headshot. It's very flowy and cool.
I...fourth Megan I think...and I second Candice Woods!
Brandon
I second Hugh Panaro. Stephanie Block's is sweet.
Idina's headshot tricked me though. When I saw her live, I found out that she, in fact, DOES have a nose.
I like Hugh's current headshot...but I especially like his 1993 one.
Hey, another PFNer. Hello there fellow Panarophile.
Hello, radioactiveduck...
I feel like I'm everywhere these days!
Yuck, I hated Idina's headshot for Wicked. It looked so washed out. Radioactiveduck, I loved ur comment about the nose... hysterical.

radioiactiveduck--Ha! about the Idina comment. Still more than Michael Jackson, though, thank god.
This post has just inspired me to go through all my Playbills searching for headshots and came up with ( a couple unknowns, but nice headshots nonetheless):
- Kelli O'Hara/The Light in the Piazza
- Karmine Alers/Rent
- Tricia Paoluccio/Fiddler on the Roof
- Kristin Chenoweth/Wicked
- Jessica Boevers/Oklahoma
Whoa, not as many as I thought, considering the amount of Playbills I have accumulated over the years...
I've also noticed a lot of nice ones in regional theater as well, like in a production of A Chorus Line that I recently saw.

Kristin Chenoweths is a great one... Also, Nolberts is good as well.
I think Stephanie J. Block's is cute as well. It shows her as being funny and caring, which is so true.
Haha, I thought of "that's so raven" too.
That's so Megan
she's in Wicked she can sing!
That's so Megan
she floats down in a big steel ring!
