The very idea of 'tenor belting' sounds like terrorism, but maybe it is just me. Think Mandy Patinkin who belts everything.
How about "fortissimo"?

Posted: 4/30/08 at 11:20amWhile the song itself isn't anything special, "What Do I Need with Love" from TMM is a pretty good showcase for a tenor.

Posted: 4/30/08 at 11:28am"Martin Guerre" from Martin Guerre is a pretty belty/shouty song. Pointless but belty/shouty for a tenor nonetheless.

Posted: 4/30/08 at 1:53pmCarl-Magnus is most definitely a baritone, 'In praise of Women" is NOT a tenor piece.
re: Best Tenor Belting Number In Musical Theater#22
Posted: 4/30/08 at 2:17pmSorry, I guess I wasn't certain about Carl-Magnus' range. I'll amend my suggestion to favorite baritone belting number.
