...I like Wicked too. Perhaps I should start an appreciation thread for it too...

Loved, loved Sweet Charity on Broadway. I can't wait for it to get to Denver this December with Molly Ringwald. Can't wait to see how she does. I really enjoyed the production as a whole. I left the theatre with a big smile on my face!

People bashed the revival but it was my first introduction to the show and I loved it. Chrisitna Applegate was Sweet Charity. She embodied the optomism so well. The cast recording of the revival is still one of my favorites.

I loved the revival. I'll be taking a road trip to Atlanta to see the tour in March. I'm excited to see Molly.

I enjoyed the revival very much due in great part to Ms. Applegate's lovable, touching portrayal.
Loved the Revival Christina was great.
Christina was perfection. I mean hell i saw it 15 times. She made any one who struggles in the search of love feel like they have hope.

So many people complained that she couldn't handle the singing or the dancing. I admit she wasn't the greatest in either, but her acting was amazing. I was so moved by her. Her sadness made me want to cry and her happiness made me feel overjoyed. I loved the revival.
Yeah, I can't wait to see it in Atlanta, too. It's one of my favorite shows touring right now. Especially Molly Ringwald, I mean, c'mon...it's Molly Ringwald!

I don't see what's to bash about it. Great acting, great choreography, and great sets. What's not to like?

Okay, I was just going to walk away from this but I simply cannot. I too loved the revival... the 1986 one that is. Plain and simple you cannot top Fosse's original choreography and anything else is less than mediocre. It's like doing A CHROUS LINE without Bennett's original choreography or WEST SIDE STORY without Robbins' original choreography, it just doesn't work in my book.
