Carl Knight is a person who registers websites for Sterling Rock, Ltd. leoncooke.co.uk, on the other hand, is registered by Working Title Films Ltd. (producers of Billy Elliot - the Musical), to prevent people from buying the site and selling it for a profit.

When buying tickets for the evening show of 17th of September, which could be James' and Ashley's last performance, contact the boxoffice at the theatre directly. I believe it is pretty much sold out, but there will probably be some tickets sold on the day, and there will most probably be a number of returns, so gather at the boxoffice at the theatre on the morning of the day of the performance, if you cannot get hold of a ticket any other way.

WEP,

Did sterling rock get those sites before the Working Title Films Ltd. in order to sell them to you guys? Or did they purchase them for WTFLtd's use--they didn't need to buy from them? Is Carl Knight just someone who looks for domain names that people might need then books them in order to make a profit, or did Billy Elliot the Musical contact him and ask him to reserve the domain name? Sorry for the confusion,

Alex

Important information for you all re: day seats 17th Sept!! Spoke to the box office staff in person yesterday (Tues 23 Aug)...The front row seats row B will be available for the matinee only!! However there will also be the 10 row A seats for the matinee and evening ONLY. At the moment all the row B seats for the evening have been allocated. I have no idea if this is likely to change, but I doubt it. I must say that I think its quite unfair to have allocated these seats in advance! Anyhow, good luck to everyone hoping to see James and Ashley's last show!!!!

hey WTP! I've been reading this topic for hours. I really enjoyed the pictures and nice little infomations that you have given us.

I was wondering if you can give us more information about each of the Billies and how they perform "differently" on stage.

Thanks!

As I understand it, the production company and the boys have been offered to buy the addresses stated before, and this will probably not happen.

Concerning the differences in the boys' performances, there are the obvious differences in choreography in "Electricity" and some other minor places, but when it comes to acting, these are the main differences: James' acting is filled with teenage anxiety, George is very expressive, both funny and furious on stage, Liam is very sweet and makes a somewhat vulnerable Billy. All of them are very good at what they are doing.

Welcome to the board TJS and GMFan. You are certainly in the right place to talk about Billy Elliot and to share your experiences with us all!

TJS - WEP (WestEndPro) certainly knows there stuff!

Tickets for the 17th September are sold out but you could always queue!

WestEndFan2 - I'm hoping to go to see the show tomorrow as well, you and I have gone on the same day before when we witnessed the first ever Billy change over at the half-time interval!

This fans website idea is great WEP. I will add my suggestions...

is anyone going to see james and ashleys last night? i love all the billys but ashley as mike is a little super star (and looks like such a darling in the dress! :P) its gonna be so sad to see him gone i think its criminal! also gutted about the loss of some of the ballet girls! one of the girls in the team i saw with ash and james is so funny, dont know her name but she runs around with her hair in her mouth - classic. i hope shes staying on does anyone know which ballet girls are? im guessing we will have to queue up for ages ont he 17th right? hmm ive been lucky with who i have seen other than m still to see george! went to see him on the 22nd and he disappeared half way through act one bless his little cotton socks. never mind ay plenty of time to see him later i now need to mourn the loss of ashley and said ballet girl. all seats for the 17th better not have been allocated thats not nice!

love to everyone, look after my boys for me people

I should hopefully be going on the 17th to see James and Ashley's last night. As i understand from this thread, it is all sold out so I shall be queing for day seats. We will probably be standing in the same line fighting over the mere 10 seats available Courtney! I believe that George was ill on the 22nd so had to be replaced by Liam half way though. I bet it was rather manic backstage having to change the Billys over mid-performance! Just as well they always have the other kids there understudying!

yeah! bless them they did so well though and everyone was smiles and cuddles after the show, wasnt planning on getting to close to george though incase his sore throat was catching! is he feeling any better now? also does anyone know when james is back?

speaking of understudys, as i was watching it i was just wondering... what do they do if one of the ballet girls is sick?! because i know they have two billy, micheals and debbies incase of emergency but what happens if a ballet girl cant go on? surely its not sensible to have two whole teams of girls in the theatre at once so how do they manage? suppose they must have a stand by girl who does most shows. lol sorry about that ive rambled myself into the answer :) but if anyone knows if im right?

god bless

James is going to be at the theatre this weekend, and should one of the ballet girls feel unwell, there is a whole other team of ballet girls waiting in the wings. George is going home this weekend for a well deserved rest after a long spell of performances which he did without problem (spare the performance a few days ago, which still wasn't as caotic as when Liam had to be switched a while ago). He'll be back next week.

Yes, they're waiting in the wings (theatre expression, sorry), but they don't actually have to be at the theatre. They do not have the same contracts as the leading kids. The leading kids have a duty to be at the theatre, while the ballet girls have a duty to be accessible and in the city, or at least able to come in on a very short notice should the corresponding girl be unable to perform. Hope that clarifies matters.

hi

I am new to this board and i found it when i was searching billy elliot the musical.I have came to say that i was in the london final between me and lucy stephenson to play the part of debbie. It was really strange because i was at my stage school academy of performing(same school that emma and brooke go to,but i dont know them, because I am in the saturday class and they are in the sunday)and i thought it was just going to be a normal day at sage academy. Then lucy sage asked me and my friend how old we were(we were 12 at the time)and told us that we had to go into studio 2 and thats were jessica and julian were. And they told us that they were searching for another girl to play the part of debbie. And then we went through the audition process and then were told if we were through to the next step.Me and my friend got through that one,and by the end of the day they had to pick three girls out of about 10 to go through the next big step.At the end of sage academy Lucy sage told me,my friend and another girl to stay behind.i knew why,and i was sooo excited! The next day on the sunday we had to go back to sage and audition with other girls from all over the north east and there was about 20 to start off with and we were told who got to the next step.Unfortunatly my friend didnt get through. And then jessica told us she would ring us to tell us who got through and who didnt. And two girls outof that audition had to be picked. It was in december and i had a really bad day at school, angry at my friends and upset.Just when me and my mum were talking about it we got a phone call from jessica and some very very good news!me and another girl that i met had got through!!I was told to take a day off school(BRILLIANT!)to come down to the London finals,to meet one of the billys, stephen daldry, lee hall, and the creative team!Jessica then post the script i had to learn, the scene when debbie says'if you want i'll show you me fanny'!!it was great going down to london for the first time, and doing the script with one of the billys!I went to the NationAL Youth Theatre and worked with george!!I was ment ot be working with liam, but he couldnt make ithi After working with george on the script,i had to go into another big room and sing 'happy birthday billy' all by myself in front of the camera(scary)Then do a song from the musical. At the end of the audition Jessica said she would let us know if me or the other girl got through.About a week and a half later,we got the phone call, saying a had got through to the very last audition!!!!And again i missed another day of school(yeeyyy!!)It was really funny, because on the train back down to london,Lucy was sitting right behind us,and didnt even know it was her!But me mam said'i am pretty sure the girl behind us is auditioning with you.'And when we got off at kings cross lucy mam came up to us and said 'are you going to the audition for debbie?'hehe,Lucy's mam had the same thought as my mam.So then me and lucy started chatting about billy elliot and the auditions we had done, and we all got a cab together. We were all an hour early,so jessica told us about this christmas market. We had a really great time,we were talking about school and that, and me mam and lucy's mam was getting on great aswell. When we went back to the audition we were thier to help audition and audition at the same time.We were there to help audition the boys for the part of the posh boy and it went on for hours! Then we had help audition the next lot of boys(are blessss they were soo cute, only 7 and 8 years old!)for the part of the small boy.We had to help them with there lines and do bits of drama with the people for the posh boys.we were there for a total of 7 hours!Flipping tiring like! Me and lucy kept whinging about missing The X Factor finAL hehe.At the end of the day we were told that one of us would be dissapointed and that, but we had tried really hard and done brilliantly. We sat next to each other on the train, talking about our day and will miss your friends and family, stuff like that.At newcastle trAIn station we we got each others mobile numbers, gave each other hugs and said our goodbyes and goodlucks. So we all became really good friends on the day. Then a week later we got the call.I could tell by my mams voice i hadn't got it,because everytime she heard the good news she was bubbly and laughing on the phone.Me dad knew it aswell and shoke his head and held out his arms for a hug,i kind of just fell into them and burst into tears careful not to cry to loud just in case jessica heard in the background on the phone.I was absoultly devesated. But Lucy also deserved to get the part.I couldnt face going back to school the next day.SOme of my friends felt sorry for me,and some didnt care a less. But i am still proud for getting that far even though i didnt get the part. But a month or so ago Jessica came back to sage academy to see if she wanted me to audition again for the second casting. She watched me doing a drama performance in my class, and then lucy told me and some other girls that We were asked to audition again!!i was over the mooooooooonnn!!!!Me family were aswell!i practised so hard again.then on the saturday i done the audition with girls from around the north east, and we done the scene when debbie is in the Changing rooms asking if billy was nervous for the audition.i tried my very very very best because i didnt want to be let down again. And then 2 weeks later a got a letter...not a very good one either:'( I was told that i was now to old(am 13 now)and by the time they would need me i would be to old for the role of debbie.I was sooooooo GUTTED...AGAIN.I Cried and cried that i cried myself to sleep,i fell asleep on the friday as soon as got home from school and heard the news and i didnt wake up till Half past 2 in the afernoon on the saturday!!But they still want to keep in contact with me!!hihi But on the whole experience was BRILLIANT!!!!
