what exactly in the following quote is slating the other 2
i would love liam to be in it but would be happy whoever is in it
well. seems to me lot of bullying going on this board. next time try and read my post properly before bullying me same goes to everyone else slagging me off. apart from lm no one is tolerant if were not the same as you. also i asked a perfectly resonable question re the show so please leave the name calling out and grow up

I think the problems started with the following comments you made....
Quote - "Liam brilliant a star
Leon very good will get better
George fair performance but like someone has siad needs to learn about manners in theatre
James average but you still enjoy his performance
Regards a previous debate there is something disturbing about the posts about little boys.
The big question is can the show go on without liam,he carryed george and james but can leon? "
rather than the one you quoted. There are other quotes from L.M along similar or more offending vanes but I'm not sure I want to trawl through the thread to find them.

Posted: 10/1/05 at 2:10amwhat exactly is wrong with George's manners in the theatre?
#929to be inspired
Posted: 10/1/05 at 3:48amThere was absolutely nothing wrong with George's behaviour on the night. If anyone bothered listening to Stephen Daldry in his speech before the performance he asked for the audiences forbearance in the obvious emotion they were all going to show that night as it was James and Ashley's last. Unfortunately a very few people took exception to George (and others I might add) jumping up and cheering loudly after each song the guys got through that night. Personally, I think it was that sort of support that made that particular night one of the best shows I have seen.

Oh dear MF you just will not let this one go .You are like a dog knawing away endlessly at the same old bone.Had you been at James's last night as I was, you would have seen and felt that the emotion of the occasion got to all of us not just George and it is totally unfair to single him out by implication. BillyFan2s comments earlier were spot on. It felt that we (the Director and stage crew, the cast and the audience) were all at a 'family' occasion celebrating, acknowledging a sense of loss and yet looking forward.By your comments you are at risk of putting yourself (if you have not already done so) firmly outside the 'family' of Billy Elliot fans.
It was also great to see James at the theatre stage door last night after Liam's performance (excellent as we have come to expect from him) and to know that the spirit of friendship between all the Billys lives on. Long may that continue.

6 month contract from dec does this mean that liam is leaving the show. if he is then i for 1 will b very sad to see him go as every time i saw him perform he was excellent. will also b sorry wen leon leaves to. also agree with gem y r people arguing all time, thought we were all meant to b fans of show so lets get bak to talkin bout the show, maybe certain people need to take leaf out of gems book ans start being mature

#949All the original Billy's & Michaels
Posted: 10/1/05 at 7:02pmThe auditions say that you have to be under 5 ft to be Billy. What? Aren't George, Liam, and Leon, and James all over 5 ft.?

Posted: 10/1/05 at 9:29pmI suppose it's possible...but 5 ft? They must be at least 5'6" now, I think? At least James definitely is, and I would think George, too.

#953Too much smoke?
Posted: 10/2/05 at 4:05am
On the assumption that the production team might read this thread from time to time, could I put in a plea for slightly less smoke in the Swan Lake dance routine. Several times lately it has been rather like peering through fog and some of the intricasies and beauty of the dance has been lost for the audience in consequence. This is particularly true for the close floor routines and when Billy rolls over the back of his older self.I know the smoke is there to add an ethereal sense to the routine but I feel it is a tad overdone.
Post script.
We were treated to two Michaels last night as Brad was too unwell for the second half. Well done Ryan for standing in after two exhausting shows on the trot with Liam and get well soon Brad.
